UNLIMITED PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

House was empty since October 2007 while on sale, owner moved for work to west coast. We purchased in November 2008, and found a renter in January 2009. When we went to house with a certified master plumber to restore heat and water service, we found that the heat was simple to return to service, but the water pipes were never properly drained. Fortunately this did not effect the downstairs or basement pipes, but the upstairs bath had "frozen" and subsequent "burst" pipes. After installation of valves to isolate the pipe area, we (and a second plumber bc the 1st was no longer available) got the house to a suitable state for the renter to move in...with no upstairs water. All the while we were calling Unlimited Property Services and telling them of our issues, and NEVER GOT A CALL BACK! We called the realtor to ask if they would call Unlmtd Prop Serv since they arranged the original service, and NO CALL BACK! Then, we sent a letter, certified mail, with copy to our attorney, stating that Unlmtd Prop Serv had 1 week to contact us in regards to house before we file suit. NO CALL BACK! We now have over $2000 invested into fixing Unlmtd Prop Serv's mistake, and is increasing in value before we'll be finished. At least we have a great tenant who's willing to live with the upstairs toilet torn out, no water, workmen repeatedly in and out of the house....you get the idea.
