I called the contractor and he answered on my first try. He asked me some questions about the job. I called back the next day with the answers, and he was at my house by 4:30pm doing the install. Two men showed up. Very pleasant and very professional. They installed exactly what I required. The first man was older and I had the impression he had installed a few million locks over the years. The second man was younger but clearly experienced as well.

I only had to leave work 30 minutes early to meet them at my house; this was a big plus. For some service providers, I have had to miss the entire day.
When they were done, they insisted I personnally test the keys in the lock. One lock I had trouble with so they made a few adjustments to it and had me try again. It did not matter to them that they could make the lock work with no effort -- it only mattered to them that I could. This was excellent customer service.
If I ever have any further need of a locksmith, I will call these guys first.

The overall experience was very good.  Daniel Boone is an experienced locksmith with a good understanding of how to fix problems, and how to prevent similar problems in the future.  Although I called him in the late afternoon, he came right over and helped me out.  I not only got my lock fixed, I also learned several things about proper set-up of door frames and quality of locks.
