FECTEAU HOMES

Working with the Fecteau family was a great experience.  The house itself was exactly as promised.

I would recommend doing some research and perhaps get quotes from contractors that you know or have already worked with.

The problem with using their "usual guys" is that they are complacent about the quality of their work and for some reason they don't think they are accountable to the customer.

It was hard to believe but every single contractor that came to us through them made enormous mistakes that made the project very stressful.

The "project manager"  seemed underinformed about the details of the project.  There was very little supervision at the sight we were never called upon until there was a crisis.  I feel if we didn't drive to the site everyday and inspect what happened during the day the house would be unsatisfactory.

Though it was like pulling teeth to get the contractors to perform, things got "handled," not always perfectly.  The contractors themselves were very unresponsive,  much to the frustration of Jim,  a phone call to him got things back on track.

They were very good to deal with. We have found a few problems and they have come and fixed them. People need to do some research on modular homes to know what they are getting. We have been very happy. They worked with the company that built the home. We knew that we were not getting the top of the line.
