Middlebury Slate Co

Sometime later in 2010 I began the process of removing the rest of the chimney from inside the house. On examining the work, I discovered that the roofing company had merely placed some plywood on top of the remaining chimney, and nailed the plywood into completely rotted wood that surrounded the old chimney hole. I immediately attempted to contact Middlebury Slate, but after months of un-answered calls and a missed appointment to look at the shoddy work that was done, I had to contact another slate roof repair company to address the problem before winter set in. This cost me an additional $560.00. Not only did Middlebury Slate do slipshod work on the repair, but failed to address my requests to make the job whole. All in all a most unsatisfactory process.
I sent a letter to Middlebury Slate company asking for reimbursement for my expenses to repair the roof they failed to repair initially, but as expected I have heard nothing from them.
