I see Dr. Allison. She has a lot of compassion and when she talks to you she tells you exactly what is going on. She won't sell you anything you don't need. We have a lot of ticks here in Vermont and one time I had a tick that I couldn't get off my dog. I called them for help and they removed it with no charge.

It went wonderfully, as It always does! From the person at the phone, to all the veterinary assistants, and the veterinarians themselves, the staff are welcoming, optimistic, compassionate and professional. I sometimes feel the prices are high, but we have - in fairness - not compared them to other offices, and would not choose to go elsewhere anyway. Treatment options are laid out clearly, but are never offered forcibly. I believe they understand that people want to do the best for their pets while staying within their own budgets. We have taken a series of pets there over many years, and we don't even request a particular veterinarian, as they are all so good.

They are great. They are accommodating. I am very satisfied. They have a lot of qualified staff. They can accommodate us whenever we need to be accommodated. I am very pleased. When I bring my dog there, they always call to make sure that she is okay later in the day. They are very reliable in that sense.

Milton Veterinary Hospital is very knowledgeable, gentle, and good with both my dogs. They are responsive to my pets' needs and I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Found the neighborhood feral cat, (group of neighbors provide food, water and shelter, but "Gandalf" didn't want to be tamed) in a very bad way. Started towards my regular vet (30 minutes away) but decided to try the Milton Vet Hospital because Gandalf was in a bad way. Walked in explained what was going on. They said they would need to get some information, but then the tech said or perhaps we should see Gandalf first? I brought the cat in and they forgot about the information for the moment, which I thought showed their compassion for the creature. They did their best for him but he was failing and the vet recommended euthanasia due to advanced kidney failure so advanced he had ulcerations in his mouth and he was 1/2 his normal size. They put Gandalf down and were very compassionate to him and me during the process. Then they got the information they needed from me. I really felt they put Gandalf first, they explained things well and they were concerned with my emotional state. Considering they took me in without an appointment, did an exam, the euthanasia, cremation (returning the ashes to me) the cost was very reasonable. I have since brought my own cat in for an exam and was equally impressed with the service I received.
