Terry (CCTS) was referred by a coworker who warned me about his ability to be very loose with his schedule.  I waited over a year for them to show up, and then another year to have them finish the stumps. The work which was done was fine. 
My frustration is a result of being charged for work done on my neighbor's yard.  Since I had engaged CCTS to remove a few trees in my yard, my neighbor and I agreed to have some work done along our property line and to share that cost.
When Terry finally arrived, the work was done, including the work along the property line.  My neighbor had CCTS do a little additional work in his yard while they were on site.  I had already paid the agreed amount for the original work to be done, which included the shared portion.  
My neighbor was charged separately for his additional work.  When I approached my neighbor for reimbursement for the shared work, I found that Terry had charged him for that work as well.  
Terry had been paid twice.  I confronted him with this error.  He admitted his bookkeeping was bad, but he agreed to do additional work to make up the difference, $650.  That was the last time I saw him.
On the few occasions I did reach him, his excuses ranged from being too busy, it was too late in the season, too early in the season, too wet, or too dry.Eventually Terry not return my repeated attempts to reach him.

The owner contacted me promptly with an estimate and he stuck to it even though they did additional work. They came when they said they would, worked hard all day, and left the area neat and clean. The price was very fair. The owner did not ask for a deposit initially, but about half-way through the job he asked if he could have a 50% deposit (it was not clear that they could finish in one day at this point). He had never dealt with us before, so I understand why. He left at noon and apparently deposited the check since he uses the same bank, so he would know that we would not stiff him. Now the job is complete, so I expect him to come by soon for the balance. All in all it was a great experience start to finish.

The work was done late in the year (December), workers were professional and cleaned up the yard each day after they were done. Stump grinding couldn't happen in 2009 due to large dump of snow right after the trees were removed. 2010 our sandy soil and wet conditions made it difficult for them to get in to do all the stumps at once. They removed smaller stumps early in the year with a smaller stump grinding machine. Took awhile for the ground to firm up so they could do the larger stumps with this huge machine that would have sunk into softer soil. They know what they are doing, did all the work that was promised and I was very pleased with the service and price.

They came out 4 years ago in spring and then again in fall. I spent a couple of thousands on that service. They were good. They did the work on time and at the cost they said they would do it for. They also cleaned it up nice and took off. They did an excellent job and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Workers made allowances for 3rd shifter (worked on opposite side of complex while person was sleeping), clean up was immediate and very through. Price was excellent, workmanship was excellent, crew was very professional. Still waiting for stump grinding but that will have to be in the spring with over 3 feet of snow on the ground.

Very pleased with the out come. Terry and his crew were very professional, I would happily hire them again. I'm glad that I shopped around, these guys "cut" a deal!
