 + -1 moreI hired Steve Butler on the recommendation of a friend. I saw the job he had done and hired him. I asked him to estimate the entire job , and a year later, with the job almost done, it's coming in almost exactly as he said. The quality of the structure was one of my main goals. It is solid and extremely tight and well insulated. He has communicated with me the whole time, as I am not there. I would arrive a few times during the process and was impressed by the work and detail which would be hidden in the structure. The trim detail is done with extreme patience and attention to detail. The water and septic systems were a challenge which were handled properly..
Description of Work: Steve Butler built a lake house from architect sketches, estimated the job and kept to the estimate perfectly. The construction quality is perfect and the attention to detail great. His ongoing communication with absentee owners has been great . He transposed the sketches to full engineering drawings, as he is an architect also. He put all the trades out to bid and chose the correct ones.
