The visit to Essex Veterinary Hospital was exceptional. From the front desk staff to the tech to the doc, all were super helpful, friendly and professional. I had 3 pets with me and we moved through everything swiftly and accurately. They were extremely informative and knowledgeable and gave several helpful suggestions/ options for some of the issues we came across and I didn't get that sense of and quot;salesand quot; pressure that some practices have given off.
They had a great sense of humor and treated our pets with incredible care and kindness even after one of my cats had a slight and quot;reactionand quot; to being in the vet office!
I really liked the atmosphere, it was very clean, bright, welcoming and cool. Usually with 3 pets, it gets very hot and furry in the exam room and at the end I would be sweating profusely, but not here. Very nicely ventilated and climate controlled.
They are also military/veteran friendly offering a discount to us for our time in service, I will definately use them again and recommend them to others!

I have been bringing Cosmo to this center since 2005 and every visit is the same. We're met by a friendly staff, situated in the examination room and made comfortable, and the initial information is given to the staff member before the vet arrives. My first few visits were with Dr. Francois Miquel and, although Cosmo is normally afraid of men, Dr. Francois' calm nature and experience with birds put Cosmo right at ease. For the past few years Dr. Elizabeth Miquel has taken over as Cosmo's vet and he is absolutely in love with her! He Loves her voice and she too has a calming effect on this bird. Cosmo is a rescue and came to me 15+ years ago with many health issues and was very afraid of everyone. He is still suspicious and nervous around people, so to have these two wonderful doctors available when I need them, and so able to deal with Cosmo's medical needs, gives me great comfort. I absolutely recommend this clinic and will continue to bring Cosmo here in the future.
