Mr Manley replaced my leaking oil hot water tank with an electric tank that I already had. He showed me the prices upfront and told me they were more expensive because tradespeople make their money on new construction and in order to not work constuction and be available they needed to charge more. I had a house full of company and didn't research as I would have usually. He told me the state required a mixing valve,$ 500.00 his price, under $70 online. He said I needed a new bottom element for the tank we were putting in, $300.00 his price, $60 online. The charge for installing my provided tank was $600. The total was $1,400. I was at a conference that day and my 22 year old son was home. When I got back, I discovered Mr Manley had taken all the old 3/4 in. copper pipe ( about 60 feet in length) and electrical wire without asking any of us. I did call and he gave me instructions to get to his home to reclaim the pipe. I wanted to keep it so I could reinstall an oil hot water heater the next time. The work was ok but I really feel he pressured me into making a hasty decision. The prices were not just a bit more expensive but out- of- this world expensive!! He received nearly $1200 for installing one hot water tank. Other plumbers I spoke to later told me it could have been done in 2 hours for $60 an hour.

They are prompt, extremely professional and they don't look like they crawled out from someone's sink. They are very neat, respond rather quickly and call to let you know when they are leaving to come to your house. They let you know about how much it's going to cost, it's not an hourly fee it is by the job. They gave us very concise estimates. We thought they were a little high, but they actually did more than they charged us for. They also give you a coupon for $25 if you refer someone to them, once they do the work they will send you a check for the money in the mail. He came, was very thorough and finished the job. I am pleased with the work.

He does great work. He is very precise and clean. His price is little high but he does good work. He does exceptional work. The guy really has attention to details. He takes out his shoes and comes into the house. He cleans up after himself. He is very prompt and straight forward with the billing. He does not charge anything more than the quote. He is expensive than the other guys in the area but he does exceptional work.

Owner was very professional, prompt and courteous. Very detailed and organized. Job was completed in a very timely manner(very unusual in this area). But this was mid summer. I had to wait for winter to try the product. The first winter furnace was fussy and being a fancy unit I was patient getting the computer adjusted. My mistakes were allowing downgrades during installation (without a price downgrade). Theses were explained to me as equal components/techniques, but in the end were very poor not giving desired results. I was promised thermostats in each of the bedrooms and ended up all on one zone with knobs(thermostatic radiator valve) on the radiators to set temp (settings of 1-6). These performed poorly and one bedroom would never make temp, (even set to MAX) during the very cold months. I spoke with Ward a couple times a year keeping him apprised of furnaces performance. After second winter of Bdrm 2 (baby's room) not making temp I requested additional 6' of baseboard. While there I asked them to install 8' of baseboard in the basement (my materials). Received bill for $900.Total job 2 guys, 2 hours. One piece of radiator corner molding still missing from installation on Bdrm 2. I complained to Ward and he reluctantly reduced the bill to $500 and indicated he would not be available for future service of my furnace. Bottom line: To this day I still need to watch the weather report in the winter and set my knobs accordingly to the outdoor temps, highs or lows.

Ward was great. He explained all the options to us, then walked us through all the work he did afterwards, explaining the changes and how things worked. Really organized - totally unlike any other plumber I've had do work for me. We brainstormed options for our funky water system. Very knowledgeable.
