Open Sash is a small business located in East Montpelier, Vermont. Chances are you are familiar with old leaky windows and the draft they can create during the long winter months. In an attempt to combat that draft and increase energy savings, it's common to throw away those windows and replace them with brand new energy efficient ones. But what if you didn't have to throw them away? What if they could be transformed into windows that have all the energy efficiency of modern windows AND the beauty of a retrofitted/restored window? We are an all-local business, offering window upgrade service with the lowest cost and lowest carbon footprint available.
