FANTASTIC! They came out and took a look the same day I called and then performed the work to get my electrical fully restored the next day! Total came in under the quoted price and they worked quickly and efficiently while providing quality workmanship.

They were on time and did a follow-up call. I will call them next time I need electrical work. Thumbs up for Dexter Electric!

Went really well. They had to get into some pretty tight places and be creative in their work. They were always pleasant to deal with and came on time.

While the job was not entirely straight forward, i.e. the wire wasn't a straight shot. The number of hours that I was billed for was in excess of what the job took/what it should have taken. The workers were clearly paid HOURLY. They took over an hour to plan how they were going to do the job, then took a break. The helper then left to get parts, and the electrician waited. Work continued other until the end of their day(2:45) other than a break(onsite) and a lunch break(off site).The helper cleaned everything up nicely. When they returned the following day work continued. I was working in another part of the house and actually want looking for them multiple times as they were on a break quite frequently. Though they did great work, they also did a fair amount of chatting. In my opinion, the work hours were overbilled, partially my own fault as I: 1. took the recommendation of someone and did not ask for a quote in advance, 2. did not watch the workers while they worked, 3. didn't put a stop watch on them from the moment they walked into my house. On the second day of work I felt like I was riding in a taxi with a driver taking the LONG route. After receiving my bill I spoke to someone else who had used them previously who said to give Dexter Electric a call and they would discount the bill as that was what they had done for them. My feeling is that if you are honest, then you should never have to discount a bill. The last time I hired an electrician (in another state,Not Dexter Electric) he performed the work efficiently, then said to me, "I charge in full hours and the job's done, so is there anything else that I can do for you for the next 25 minutes"? I only wish I could find service like that again.

They were punctual, professional and completed the work in the time needed.
