About us
It is about Treesponsibility. We are proud of our Responsible and Sustainable approaches to tree care, maintenance and problem mitigation. Treesponsibility means listening to, and speaking for, both the trees and their owners. Being treesponsible means looking at the present in light of the future and striving to meet today's needs while minimizing tomorrow's problems. It means being on the cutting edge of information, techniques and science. It also means earning the credentials that make us better providers of tree services to you! As of December 2010 there were only two ISA Board Certified Master Arborists in Vermont and our owner Richard Wood (#NE6308BT)is one of them! Remember, not all tree "experts" are arborists. And not all Arborists are ISA Board Certified Master Arborists! (You can verify Richard's credentials at: http://www.isa-arbor.com/certification/verifyCredential/index.aspx.)

I was impressed with the thoroughness and detail of the assessment report, and the professionalism with which the work was handled. For example, the assessment and the actual tree work were handled as two separate tasks, to minimize the possibility of conflict of interest.
Communication was mainly by e-mail, and I sometimes felt that the firm was slow to respond to my messages. I attributed that to their having a heavy workload towards the end of the fall season. They did always eventually respond, and the pruning work was finished before we had our first heavy snow, which was my goal. Overall I am very satisfied with this company.
