I did not have the same good experience as other reviewers. Abraham Miller of Green Age installed my solid hardwood floor and within a few months the floor started separating. Some boards started moving back and forth and huge gaps appeared between the boards. Gaps wider than the width of a quarter. You could actually see the nails or lack of nails in the boards. During the install he seemed very concerned about his time and getting the job done as fast as he could which resulted in lack of care for the quality of his work and it’s outcome. He did not follow manufacturer’s installation recommendations or industry standards. The nails were too short and nail spacing on some boards were 15” to 33” apart and some boards had no nails in them at all. He used less than half the number of recommended nails in just about every board we pulled. When contacted about the problems, he just didn’t respond. He didn’t honor his contract warranty on his work, was very unprofessional and didn’t take responsibility for the issues he caused, placing blame everywhere else. Finally, after being contacted by a lawyer, he agreed to fix the floor and gave his word that he would, but never showed each time the work was scheduled and never bothered to call. He was given many chances to resolve the issues. He was finally sued and on Nov. 15, 2018 we were awarded a judgment against him for the cost of a new floor. I would not recommend any dealings with a person of this integrity.

We were very pleased with Green Age in all aspects of our project, from start to finish. The floors in our old Victorian home (1st floor), which at one point was a student rental, were in poor condition and consisted of several types and layers (laminate, tile, hardwood) that all needed to be removed down to the original boards. It was a nasty job but was completed quickly and efficiently, and nicely cleaned up afterward. A partial sub-floor was needed in some places and leveling across the 1st floor was a challenge in some places. Some of this was unexpected and they worked SATURDAY & SUNDAY in order to finish on schedule! Abe & crew did a great job with both prepping and installing the new hardwood floors - they look absolutely fabulous! We also greatly appreciated that we were able to leave several pieces of furniture in place, since we had no room to clear the 1st floor of furniture. They were able to move things around as the installation proceeded. Working with Abe & Green Age was a pleasure and we would definitely work with them again, as well as recommend them to anyone looking for construction/building services. Pleasant, clear communication, great results, on-time and willing to go above & beyond to deliver.

Abe from Green Age showed up as promised for the estimate review and returned an estimate within a week. The estimate covered all areas and was clear and complete. No later hidden charges.
He arrived as scheduled and completed this major job professionally and timely. He worked neat and was respectful of the property and the people. Roofing is hard, dirty work and there are many peaks and valleys on my roof. (I did the first one myself 19 years ago).  Abe and his folks did the job showing none of the hardships that come with this type of job. When it was done it looked great, (better than mine), the property looked untouched, and the final bill was the same as the original quote.
I would recommend green age construction for any project.

The job was done very professionally. This was a complex job that was done creatively and the deck looks great. They even repaired my garage door that I ran my car in a year ago. This was extra and done anonymously without charge. Thanks Guys!

ATC Builders worked with us to transform our dark and choppy log home's first floor into a brighter, lighter, open space.  Our kitchen remodel spilled into the living and dining rooms by refinishing the floors, sheet rocking a wall to unify and lighten the dining room and kitchen and removed a wall that cut the kitchen off from the living room.  There are no square walls in a log home, so customization and engineering are key components to remodeling.  Many builders have these skills, but what you get with ATC is also some wonderful craftsmanship.  When I asked them to repurpose a display cabinet by cutting it in half and have it flank a new custom banquet in the dining room, instead of pushing back, they thought it was a great idea.  It wasn't an easy task, but the end result is a unique show stopper.
Instead of upper cabinets, we wanted open shelving for our dishes.  Abe was not satisfied with the end result and came back to make the changes to his satisfaction.  That's his satisfaction folks, not mine, I thought they were ok.  After the rework, he was right, they look fantastic.
We had some unsightly plumbing fixtures for the upstairs that had previously been hidden in the wall that was removed, I asked for a small broom/utility closet to be built to hide them.  Instead of a plain solid door, David constructed a beautiful custom wood door. A great feature I hadn't expected!
After lots of notching, cutting custom trim, building out window frames, piecing in new wood flooring to match existing, refinishing floors, customizing a rebuilt kitchen cabinet, re-purposing a display cabinet, building a banquet with storage drawers, installing cabinets, loads of white paint and a multitude of other things, Phase I is now complete.  The changes are unbelievable and I can't wait to have them back to begin Phase II.
These gentlemen are professional and talented.  They humor this crazy homeowner and honor and execute my far fetched ideas.  You will not be disappointed with their work.

After purchasing our new home, our insurance company required us to install a railing on our front porch within 30 days of our closing date.  We were literally at the 11th hour of our deadline.  After speaking with Abe on the phone and describing the job, he was able to quickly fit us into his schedule.  Due to our busy schedule, I didn't really have much time to work with him on the look I wanted.  (This girl can be very particular!)  We discussed it, he made his recommendations and I said "go for it!"  I totally put my faith in them that it would turn out alright.  On the day of the job, I arrived at the house to find Abe and David completing the work.  It looked AMAZING!!  Not only did they fit us in, their pricing was fair, the material was a perfect match for the style of our home and we had a hand crafted railing installed in time to meet our imposed deadline.

This month we are remodeling our kitchen.  Abe and David will be doing the work and I can't wait to see the finished product.  I highly recommend these fine gentlemen who show up on time and get the work done at a fair price!

P.S. One more thing....my biggest pet peeve when working with a contractor is cleanliness on the job site.  Please do not put a chop saw in my living room while you are working.  (It's happened to me before...twice!)  Abe and David cleaned up after themselves and left only a beautiful railing behind as evidence that they were there.  Being neat and tidy goes a long way in my book.

Went very well.
Very competitive price.
Very responsive.
Work was done on time in a quality fashion. Materials were good quality.
Most impressive of all, Abe allowed me to borrow his trailer for debris removal. Not necessary for him to do and it allowed me to save some dollars by doing some of the work myself.
ATC and Abe are first rate and highly recommended.

We have used Abe for other jobs. We have an old home so all of the work we have done is basically repair or remodeling. He is able to make everything come out perfect, even in an old house with crooked walls, floors, etc. There are no gaps or imperfections in his work. When he is done everything is matched up exactly and you would never know any work had been done, it just looks great!
He is the most punctual contractor I have ever hired. He arrives and finishes when he says he will. His estimates are fair and accurate and he will tell you up front if he anticipates there could be a deviation from the initial estimate due to something unknown when the estimate is given. Example: he removes the damaged surface and finds there is extensive damage underneath that he could not see beforehand. I've found him to be totally honest, reliable and fair in every way. He is also polite and respectful to his customers.
One thing I've always hated about having work done is the horrible mess that is made in your home and living space while the work is being done, and the messes the contractors leave behind. This has never been an issue with Abe. He sets things up so the mess is contained as much as possible. He cleans as he goes and at the end of the day he cleans the area well. I have never had to clean up after him.
As for how did it go? It went perfectly. I was amazed at the extent of the job and how much detail it involved. He matches everything up exactly so there are no gaps anywhere. I frequently see work that has been done on people's homes, by other contractors, and it looks good at a distance but if you get up close you will see a visible gap between the floor and wall or in the corners where two boards meet. It looks like a puzzle where the pieces don't connect tightly. Everything Abe does is flush, matches perfectly, is aligned and has no gaps or flaws. I don't know how he does it so well. I believe that this is easier to achieve when you are building or making something from scratch, such as new construction. However, going into an old home where things are settled and crooked and already there, and being able to repair and rebuild and make it all match and fit together flawlessly is quite a skill. Abe is detail oriented and precise in every way.
I highly recommend him if you want a professional job done for a reasonable price.
