They didn't confirm that they would be there beforehand as indicated, but 4 people did arrive on time. It's a small condo, and the request was for a deep clean and wall wash prior to painting. One bedroom was not to be cleaned, so only 1 of the 2 was included. They were there almost 4 hours, the walls were NOT washed, even when they were asked to not dust the bookshelves and wash the walls, please. The half-bath floor was not cleaned, nor was the kitchen floor and they were obviously filthy (we have photos of after). The director was not available to take calls that day (the check WAS immediately processed though!) and would not discuss the issue with my husband when he did reach her. That seems to be a clever way to avoid the 24 hour satisfaction guarantee! He left a message with the corporate office.
The corporate office was responsive, although they also did not communicate as promised (we had to call them to continue pursuing the issue). The Burlington office provided us with another 1.5 hours of time to provide a finish to the deep clean. The walls were never washed.
DO NOT hire them; very unprofessional, a poor job done and overpriced for the work you do get.
On another occasion the woman who was assigned the cleaning of the bathrooms was told several times by the team leader that the rooms weren't clean and to go back and do them again.. I had asked the team leader to check the quality of the work because on a previous occasion this woman had done a very, very poor cleaning job.
I had a cleaning scheduled to be done two days before my granddaughter's wedding. We had a couple family events planned so an extra cleaning was to be done just to be sure every thing was ship-shape. The time scheduled for the cleaning came and went ...no one came to clean and no one called to let me know what was going on. So, I called and was told by the company representative that something had come up (a sick child needing medical attention) so she hadn't reiterated to the team leader that I was expecting the team at a specific time to do some last minute cleaning. The company rep told me she was the only one who handled the schedule. I said that I thought that was no way to run a business and that customer service didn't seem to be very important to them. I said I was particularly upset because I had stayed home wasting time when I still had many things to do to get ready for my out-of-town guests.
There are other examples of my poor experience with the Maids that I am not going to get into because I think the above comments will give a pretty good sense of how things went.
