NEW OFFICE FURNITURE EXCHANGE

This long-standing local business offers a fair selection of used office furniture in varying conditions, and a larger menu of new chairs, desks etc. available for custom configuration and mail order from select manufacturers.  The pieces are appropriately commercial, leaning towards utility and computing, and the choices are somewhat narrow; this is not a place for fine furnishings.
Reg Cross is the owner and operator, and has developed many ties to the larger community, with repeat customers from local businesses and the universities.  For the individual or new small business, the owner is often at the store to answer your questions, and in general the customer service is efficient, professional and up-front.  The in-town delivery and set-up of my purchase was on time, white glove, and competitively priced.
However, the prices here are somewhat higher than competing big-box retailers, and oddly a few of the used furniture pieces, even banged-up, are tagged well above what can be found elsewhere, new.
All told, the place deserves a look, but may be best suited, and more economical, for well established businesses and larger offices.
