 + -1 moreThe re-boot and new operating sytem went on fine but it took several phone calls and an extra week to get the work done. He was constantly out of the shop. We went over the files that needed saving and he assured me it would be fine. When I received the computer I found ALL the files and data missing. Each folder was there but were empty. When he reviewed his work he found that he did not save my files and they were permantly gone due to an oversight in the copying process. Do not go to this repair shop as there is a good chance you will have a similar experience. He did not appear competent or professional. I was able to re-install some files from my back-up service but this simple repair was botched up for no good reason. Fortunately, I had not paid for the work yet and we settled on no payment required.
Description of Work: I was to have a complete computer re-boot, meaning the hard drive would be erased and the operating system would be re-installed. At the same time, all my data and important info on the hard drive would be saved to allow installing onto my new system. This is a relatively easy and common operation for computer experts and is done many time during each month.
