They're fair. I have been with them for 30 years. Sometimes I lose service with them. Customer service is fair. I would probably not recommend them. Its sort of a monopoly. We don't have a choice. That's the only cable service available here. We'd have to use satellite if we want something else. I don't like their price. I would shop around and see what's available for what price.

It is not unusual to have trouble with all three areas (phone, internet and TV.) Sometimes I can fix problems on my own by resetting the systems. The basic attitude of the company is that they are the only provider who offers this package. When it works, it works well. However, I've had a lot of problems with it. Members can call and ask for "client services" or "client retention" to ask for a discount. Ask to speak to someone higher up to discuss bill.
Description of Work: I get the "Triple Play" service with Comcast.

He was professional and courteous, and that problem seemed to be resolved by the time he left, but now the problem is just different. I have spent a total of more than 12 hours on the telephone with Comcast, and have had three service technicians out. I have been paying a lot of money for service that doesn't work. I have purchased a television antenna, and am cutting the cord!

It was a while ago so I don't recall. What did happen is that I was gone for a while. I put them on auto pay from my bank for the 2 months I was gone. When I got back everything was turned off and I lost some business. Turned off because one of the accounts was considered deliquent. With some research I discovered it was their mistake but they never owned it because they couldn't understand the mistake or didn't want to. What happened is that since my business was at home, I could not get the business package for $99 which included phone, internet and tv. I could buy interent and phone for the business and my TV would have to be a residential account. Didn't like the reasoning but I went with it. Well it turned out that my account numbers were about 16 digits long. Both account numbers for business were identical except for the last two digits and I believe one of those digits were the same but reversed. So basically one account number ended in something like 82 and the other in 26 or perhaps 28. Well when the check came from the bank with the account number on it, the people applying the payment were applying it to my television account, both checks were applied. They were not taking the time to read the entire number. Simply saw that the first ones matched and all the money went to the television. So my television had a positive balance and I was behing on the business. So for some odd reason they shut everything off. The Tech said they shouldn't have shut the television off since that was paid in advance now. Never got satisfaction from them. One other point I discovered is that I considered ending my contract but was told I had a 3 year contract. I don't ever remember going for a 3 year, 2 year yes but not three. To many of these businesses with contracts a relatively vicious and predatory when it comes to getting out. But that is ok. They get me only once!!!! When it's over I will get out and at that point, they will call, etc and plead with deals etc to come back. My mind is made up. It could be free and I won't do it. Actually doing that quite a bit. I did quit the television completely. We negotiated a new rate, they said ok but when the bill came no dice. We talked once more, got double talk and I said "Cancel". That's when the deals started up. I told him I had decided well before, that if he said, " it can't be done", then I would cancel and it was final. |I will search for providers without contracts or half off for one year and the folling year will be full screw price. I want to do business with people that give me an up front right now price with no changes other than the normal price increases that come with doing business. | |

The reason that I chose them is because the other company had direct TV and not cable so I did not want that. I am having a problem in with my e-mail that they have not yet resolved it. If I cannot find competition I will continue to use their services in the future.
