Friend Construction

The job was done early, finished ahead of time, and looks great. Thrilled with company going above and beyond.

He was very quick to respond and come to look at the job. He gave a verbal estimate and said he would send a written estimate. The next day when I hadn't heard from him, i emailed him a reminder that I was still waiting for his written estimate and gave him my direct email address and I never heard back. So I can't really say much about the quality of their work because they didn't do any!

Showed up for initial review and was professional and polite. Said he would be back to measure and let me know very soon. Then nothing. I called back two weeks later. He showed up and measured a week after that. I called again a week later. He called back and basically scolded me for roof fixtures that he didn't like. Told me the old job was subject to leaking. (19 years and counting and completely dry!!!) Grilled me about attic insulation, I have more than code but he wanted to see it. Said he would get me a quote later. That was a month ago, nothing. Work is scheduled to start in September by someone else.

Another contractor got the job and for less than Friend Construction. I guess they only want big jobs like condo associations, where I had seen their signs.

Eric was punctual, professional and did high quality work within the project estimates and scope.

Friend Construction employees arrived on time, worked from start to finish, were extremely courteous and thoughtful. They not only completed the work on a very timely basis but their clean-up was above and beyond expectations.

Eric and his crew did a great job in a timely manner. His crew was extremely efficient and finished roof replacement in two days. Very professional company who does quality work for a fair price.

They were great. I have seldom seen a crew work so diligently. Tney arrived at 7 AM and didn't leave until after dark two days in a row. They were careful of our landscaping and did an excellent job cleaning up afterward. The price for the work was exactly as quoted even though they did some extra stuff. We couldn't be more satisfied.

I did have to call back a few times to get them out, but I understand they did have a busy schedule. Once we were ready to lock down a provider, someone was out to our home on time. We received a fantastic bid! The estimator was very attentive and friendly. We did choose him to complete our roofing project, to be completed in May.

My roof needed replacement, so I asked around in our neighborhood for suggestions. Eric from Friend Construction was highly recommended, so I called & he came out and gave us a detailed estimate to do the work. I was unsure about what color shingles would look best, so Eric actually put several samples on the roof & also gave me some addresses to drive past to see the various colors & also the quality of his workmanship. I told Eric that I am very particular and that I really wanted to use someone who would take the time (and pride) in doing an exceptionally good & careful job. He had me make a list of all questions and details that were important to me and he was careful to live up to all of them. I have already asked Friend Construction to do additional work to our home as soon as their schedule allows for it to be done with our crazy Vermont weather~
