MOMANEY PAINTERS

We made an appointment for 9/1/2016 but they didn't end up coming until 10/28/2016. The guy is unreliable, he comes and goes as he pleases. It was a rushed job, they only spent about 20 hours total here. They painted the house with stain in the morning over condensation so there were bubbles. I mentioned that waterproof sealing exists, but they seemed confused. That is the whole point of why I needed them to seal the house was to prevent water from leaking. They did two stains on the deck within an hour and a half, it was a very rushed job. I got screwed. I asked for a written warranty and I got three different versions. I wanted a warranty of 3 years for their work which he never initialed. Very unprofessional. The house looks better than before.

Found them by word of mouth. Fabulous to work with -- friendly, patient, utterly professional, and interesting -- both father and son -- to boot. I was on a budget and had been working my way around the house on my own, staining trim/soffits, etc., and they worked with me on a plan that would leave untouched the sides of the house that were within my reach while taking advantage of their equipment and experience doing a great job on the sides I couldn't. Will definitely call them again.

They were prompt in replying to a message that I left asking some one to call. The owner came over in September and said they were finishing the outside work and preferred not to work inside at that time due to outside commitments. I had heard that they would be worth waiting for and it was true. The person that came over was very knowledgeable and provided me with a couple differnt options. I am going to have them paint the trim on my house outside next year. Owner says they have been working in the Brattleboro area as a family business for over 50 years.
