Very well. Both my husband and I were very impressed. We will be calling them again soon for spring work which needs to be done.

The owner's son, John, returned my initial call on the job and came right over to give me the cost estimate and timing for the work. He was in charge of the job. They came close to the date he estimated. They cut the trees in early March and were very professional and thorough. I was very pleased with the work.
Our road was closed to heavy trucks so they could not remove the larger logs that could not be chipped for mulch until May 1. I called John's cell phone just before May 1 and reminded him that we needed the logs removed. Two weeks later I called again and learned that scheduling was done by the office and that I should call the regular number. When I did I received a very prompt response and the logs were gone in a few days.

They have been excellent. Their prices have been very reasonable. They are pretty busy so it takes al ittel while for them to get to you. They always do a great job!

I had made arrangements with another tree service in town, but after waiting for several months they never showed, so I called Dand E Tree. The owner (Don) came out to the house the next day and walked around the yard to discuss the work. He made some recommendations and gave me an estimate which I accepted (it was significantly less than the other estimate, with more trees being taken down). I had a few more questions over the next week and they promptly answered each of those over e-mail.
When the day came, the crew arrived exactly at 8:00 and started working immediately. They worked straight through the day until 3:00 without even taking lunch breaks. I was very impressed with how hard they worked, and how professional they were. A few of the trees were in tight to the house, but it didn't seem to bother these guys as they clearly knew what they were doing.
When they left, my hard was definitely cleaner than when they arrived. They blew down the driveway, my deck, and everywhere else that they made cuts. I was also impressed with the effort that they put in to get the stumps as close to the ground as possible. They were much lower than I expected.
This is a family business (the lead of the crew was the owner's son), which I always appreciate doing business with. They take the work seriously because they know that they get a lot of their business through recommendations. I would gladly do business with them again.a

The owner came out to our home to have a look at the work so he could provide an estimate. We walked around the property and I showed him the trees we wanted taken down. He took notes on his note pad, then provided an estimate which I accepted. He also mentioned that some of the trees in the back yard appeared to be straddling the property line. He called back later with the name of the abutting land owner so I could get permission to have the trees removed.
Once I got permission from the adjoining land owner, I called to have the work done. Weather and prior commitments pushed the planned date of service back a couple of times. I took a vacation day on the first day they said they would come out, but they called in the morning and said they had to re-schedule due to the weather. They said they would try to show up within a couple of weeks. On the day the workers arrived, my wife called me at my work and said the workers don't know what trees we wanted cut down. I explained what trees we had agreed to, but I came home to find they had left one tree from the row of trees in the back yard standing.
I got a call back a few days after the job was done and I just said everything was fine. I understood how difficult it was for them to get the equipment out to the back yard, and I figured I'd save them the hassle of coming out again for that one tree. I also feared it would be my word against theirs, due to the lack of explicit documentation. I opted for leaving the remaining tree for nature to take its course or a handyman who needs some work.
The work that was done was done well. The trees were cut and the wood was left as they had promised. The workers also did a good job cleaning up after themselves. I would have given a higher Professionalism rating if the workers knew what trees actually had to be cut.
If I use them in the future, I will request that the estimator document the work to be done with a digital camera or a low tech can of spray paint.
