Brattleboro Chimney Sweep

The entire process was incredibly smooth and simple.  I left a message indicating that I wanted a chimney sweep, and received a call back a few days later to setup the appointment.  When the day came, the guys arrived early and got right to work.  They were very professional, while also being friendly.  They surveyed the scene, laid down the a few blankets to keep our floor from getting dirty, and started the process.  We purchased this home in the spring and the previous owners were 'slackers', so we expected it to be extremely dirty and we weren't disappointed.  The guys were surprised if there was any draft at all, since so much 'crap' had accumulated.  They quickly cleaned it all out without any noticeable ash blowing into the living room.

This is our first house that has a wood stove as the primary heat source, so we had lots of questions.  Mark, the owner of the company, spent lots of extra time answering our questions and giving us advice of how to best use and care for the wood stove.

This is a small operation where the owner is a firefighter (seems like a good fit for someone working with chimneys) and does the chimney cleaning on the side.  For this reason, don't expect a receptionist, a web site, or a storefront.  But in the end  you get great service and have confidence in the job being done.
