Everybody there is very caring, friendly and professional. The vets interact very well. They are the best ones around.

Dr. Suzy is a gem. My last dog, Chuy, had cancer and she treated both him and me with dignity and respect. She is open to all types of treatment, including alternative treatments, not just traditional Western medicine. It is obvious that she loves animals. I will be taking my new dog, Kelsey, to meet with her today for Kelsey's first wellness exam. I look forward to seeing her again. She is kind and gentle and I would strongly recommend her for anyone's pets. Oh yeah...and the staff are fantastic...animal lovers all!

They are a pretty popular veterinary clinic. They are very professional and they are a great group of people. The doctors and the staff there are very helpful and they care a lot about the animals. I have been using them since 2002. What really stands out to me about them that has kept me using their services is probably their veterinarians. They are expensive but they are really good.

I've taken both my dogs to West Mountain since moving to VT in 2010.
I've been happy with their service and professionalism, though I find
their prices much higher than vets I used before relocating in the
southeastern US. They've done a great deal to help me treat my dogs as
they've aged and when my oldest dog became acutely ill in November our
primary vet, Suzy Pence, was amazing in her response. She met me at the
office around 4am, did everything she could for my dog throughout the
day, and when by that night it became apparent my dog was ready
to transition, walked us through the euthanasia process with more grace
and compassion than I could have imagined.
In addition to Dr. Pence we've seen Dr. Bob and Dr. Beau over the years and think highly of them as well. The
staff at West Mountain is also a part of the treatment team...always
concerned and interested in the health and welfare of my dogs. Highly
recommend.

I have been going to Dr. Suzy with my two dogs for three years. I live part time in another state, and when I had to put one of my dogs to sleep, I let West Mountain know and Dr. Suzy sent me a personal email expressing her condolences. Last week she led a free "Bereavement Ceremony" for people who have recently lost ther beloved pet companions. There were nine people there (more than I had expected) and It was a great healing experience. In a word, Dr. Suzy is compassionate! In more words, she is competent, open-minded and goes beyond what my experience has been with other vets. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Suzy and West Mountain to friends.
