Bought a $5 product and a month later still not received. $75 shipping cost on something 5 miles away. Horrible company.

EBTH is a mixed bag. An online auction house with a national reach, they are great for selling jewelry and smaller household objects. The are not effective in selling larger pieces of furniture, which have generally only a local market. There also seems virtually no market for books, including signed first editions, unless those of extremely well-known authors. EBTH staff were very helpful in arranging charitable donations, but the junk removal company they recommended, Got Junk, was a complete disaster. EBTH staff were generally pleasant prompt and professional. But their initial representative generally inflated the appeal and value of our household contents in order to close the deal. We also saw slippage in our schedule, compounded by the Christmas holidays. We made our final schedule, but just barely. We had to stay on top of some staff to tie up loose ends, such as a few agreed on items that failed to be included for sale and receipts for final donations after the sale.
