The aluminum covering installed over the fascia on the back of my house was not properly shaped. In some places it hangs as much as 3/4 inch beneath the fascia board. I am unable to open several of my crank out style windows because the tops of the windows hit the low hanging aluminum.
About four months after the work began, the ceiling plaster was finally repaired above my fireplace. I then started noticing new stains on the ceiling in the new plaster. From inside my attic, daylight could be seen through the flashing installed around my fireplace chimney. They returned and did some caulking but would not reinstall the flashing correctly. I am still experiencing occasional leaking from the flashing depending on the direction and force of the rain.
The head of a roofing nail is visible in one of my shingles. This, of course should have been placed much higher so as to be
covered by the next row of shingles.
I made a complaint with the BBB in June 2103. Matt McQuillen responded by phone that he would take care of the problem.
He stopped by June 22, 2013 to see the problem and said he would call me. I waited until September to contact him again.
Mr. McQuillen "thought the work had been done. Today is May 22, 2014. Nothing to correct any of these issues has been done.
I recently filed a second complaint with the BBB. Mr. McQuillen never responded. My only option, at this point, appears to be
legal one.
