Leaking, installed incorrectly, with the most incredibly rude owners and employees I've ever encountered.

Extremely impressed with Thomas Roofing. They were professional, did a wonderful job, and at a reasonable price. There is no one else I would go to for these kinds of repairs in the future.

We received recommendations from several friends, neighbors, and our insurance agent when selecting which companies we wanted to have bid our new roof. Ultimately, we decided on Thomas Roofing who thoroughly explained the scope of work without sounding sales-pitchy and offered a fair price. The day of the job, their crew showed up on time (maybe even a few minutes early!) and completed the work in one day. They carefully cleaned up after themselves, even taking the time to search for nails with a magnetic roller. As a result, we’ve only found a handful of nails in our yard (I believe it’s inevitable to find a few). The dumpster was removed from our driveway first thing the following morning (a Saturday) and we received the invoice in the mail a couple of weeks following job completion. We’re very happy with the quality of work. The only reason I gave a “B” on responsiveness, was we had asked for a few days notice once they knew what date they planned to do the work. This would allow us to make arrangements for our three dogs to go to doggy daycare, knowing the noise involved with tearing off and replacing the roof would drive them bonkers. We ended up receiving notice of a last minute opening at 4pm the day before Thomas Roofing planned to come, which didn’t give us time to make reservations for daycare. That said, it had been a very rainy month which disrupted Thomas’ schedule and they knew we wanted the work done ahead of family coming in for Thanksgiving, so we ultimately just appreciated them working to fit us in and our dogs eventually forgave us!

I took four bids from a variety of contractors recommended by a competitive online group (i.e., not Angie's List) and all were outrageously expensive with sales pitches that were, more often than not, patronizing. I then use my common sense and called Thomas Roofing, a firm that ONLY DOES ROOFING, and whom I had hired over thirty years ago in another home. When Jason Thomas arrived, he was the only one that actually climbed on my roof to provide an assessment and quote. His professionalism and the fine work of his installation crew who came, when promised, lead me to give them an A+.

It went very well. Completed the work in one day. Clean-up was as advertised.

Insurance did pay for some of it. We had contacted them and tons of stuff had happened with the weather and so they were backlogged. They came in and had the work done in 2 days. There were 5 or 6 people. Some people were taking the roof off and others were laying it down. They were hauling things out and they cleaned up. If there were any nails, they vacuumed everything. They did a really good job. The workers were good. They didn't speak much of English but they were very professional about their job and they knew what to do.

Couldn't have gone worse. Three months later the newly installed roof STILL LEAKING. Thomas roofing refuses to properly address or return phone calls. A brief history of the initial installation and the completely unprofessional nature of the work completed. 22 July - Supervision was not present during the working day. If they were, they didn't identify themselves. - Apparently work was subcontracted, this was not mentioned in the contract. - Workers were not aware of bathroom vent installations noted on signed agreement. - Cut for the ridge vent is crooked. Ridge vent is not installed per manufacturer specifications. Per the Owens Corning tech team "..advise that the cut-out slot should be at the center of the ridge vent in order to prevent leaking" The picture attached clearly shows the cut out slot is both not straight and not aligned with the center of the ridge vent. (photo attached) - Thomas roofing refused to return any calls when the above issues were arising. - Bathroom vents installed both incorrectly and unprofessionally. The square holes they cut do not align with the round holes on the vent caps. Collars for the vents also weren't installed, bathroom venting cannot be connected with this improper installation. (photos attached) - Non-recyclable trash from the worksite was found in the property recycling bin. - Worksite trash found unbagged in property trash cans. - Trash trailer was left blocking the driveway and killing the grass overnight. After a heated exchange of words Brian Thomas decided to call me a "fucktard" for expecting the removal of said trailer. He does apparently know how a phone works at least. - A pallet of material was left in the driveway and continues to block the driveway. 26 July - Phone call was made reporting issues - material remains blocking driveway 27 July - Phone call was made reporting issues - material remains blocking driveway 28 July - Phone call was made reporting issues - material remains blocking driveway 29 July - Phone call was made reporting issues - material remains blocking driveway for 7 days. No calls were ever returned. - Improperly cut ridgevent began leaking - Calls not returned for another week. - Ridgevent replaced, cut repaired with decking boards? - leaks in water heater vent discovered - leaks in furnace vent discovered - Thomas roofing failed to return calls for 3 days. - Repairs performed on both vents. OCT 8 - leaks discovered at water heater vent again.

They were efficient, cleaned up very well, very professional, the crew made sure everything was done, and made sure the weather was going to be just right. The price was fair.

I highly recommend Thomas Roofing. The price was great. We upgraded and got a better quality roof than what was on our house. These guys know what they are doing. The crew did their job, on time and quietly and left my yard just as they found it. PLUS I over paid Thomas by over 700.00 and they called me today and brought it to my attention. I will pick up my check tommorrow and write them another for the correct amount. That's being VERY honest. thanks again. THOMAS ROOFING!!!!!!!

Thomas Roofing gave an estimate to replace my roof.  The crew arrived at 8:30 am, began immediately to remove the old roof.    They finished in 1 day, did a good job & cleaned up well.  I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

They were above and beyond fantastic.  They came to my home, brought samples and gave me estimates.  I signed the contract and within two weeks I had a roof.  They did all in one day which was the best.  They did it while I was at work.  I didn’t even know that they were there except they came back the next day to pick up their stuff.  They were on time and they finished early.

They were wonderful! My only problem was communication. They didn't follow up about exact job date. The job was done well, the office was very nice and accommodating everytime I spoke to them. The price was much better than the competitors!

He did a good job. He came on time and was prompt in installing the new roof, I have had no problems since.

As a home owner, I interviewed three Angie's list roofing providers and compared all my notes. Thomas roofing was the middle of the proposals. Mr. Jason Thomas was simple and used a straight forward approach and didn't try and sell me something I didn't need. The proposal was a good deal because of the amount of work to be done. Workers were punctual, cleaned up and my house looks great. Also, I'm very pleased to submit Shaun's name as a very conscientious worker and took extra care to making sure specifications were met. Thank you! This company is a good return on my investment.

donot remember cost, this was about 8 yrs ago. they did a real good job, and were on time.
