I can't really say as they stayed here and we were not living here at the timel

mr grainger showed up and started the work  after I agreed to pay 780 dollars for removing my existing tile to the concrete floor and replacing it with 12 x 12  ceramic floor tiles. he started work and removed the 12" vinyl tiles that were over the ceramic tiles. he started removing the vinyl tiles and then breaking up the ceramic tile floor and  said the existing tile was bonded to the floor that it would be a terrible mess and possible damage to concrete floor to try and get it broken up and removed so he suggested leaving the existing tile and tile over it. I asked to drop the price and he only dropped it by 80 dollars. I did not want the job to be such a mess and hesitantly agreed with him to do it. after he was completed it looked ok but he said stay off it for 24 hours. I did and checked work the next day and found gaps and broken piece of tile along the wall behind the toilet. this was not satisfactory so called him and asked him to fix it. he said ok and would be there in a week. well 2 weeks passed and I finally got him out there. he said it would be too hard to break up and replace so he just caulked to fill the gaps. at this point I was fed up and said ok. if I knew at the time of the shabby work I received I would not have paid him until it was corrected properly. I would not recommend this contractor . I feel I was charged too much for work that was not done as stated in the contract and now I have a tile floor that is higher than the other floors in the house.
