Wonderful company! The owner is very hands-on, and makes sure each repair or remodeled item meets his standards and that the homeowner is happy. He went above and beyond to see that the repairs/remodels were safe and complied with code, that I was happy with the work, and I was comfortable with his staff. He made friends with my dog, and I was confident in letting him and his staff have access to my house when I was not home. He made every deadline and kept us up-to-date with progress and timing issues. He told me beforehand who would be at the house and when. I felt this was a company with old-fashioned values, and that the owner set store by his handshake and commitment. I honestly cannot say enough nice things about both the owner of the company and his staff... everyone was universally professional and friendly. The quality of work done was great! He was comfortable making adjustments to the contract while the work was in progress- for example I decided I wanted a fold-up teak bench in the shower rather than a built-in seat, and ordered what I wanted online. I was able to just choose and buy my tile and supplies, either through one of his recommended suppliers or independently. I got some of my tile online, and some at a big-box store which kept costs down. I did choose to use his recommended plumbing supply for the expensive stuff and was glad I did. I also chose to get a marble top for my current vanity and install it myself. When we sat down after all the work was done, he came in a little under contract which was nice. His card is now on the front of the refrigerator- if I need anything else done, I am calling Eugene Baker FIRST!
