My canine developed a fluid filled pocket from a bite wound.  The duty vet reduced the pocket, drained the abscess, and resolved the issue.  Fast, efficient service.   This facility has always been the go to place on the Peninsula for after hours emergency care.  Very talented staff who worry about the pet more than your ability to pay.

Overnight my cat, Kaylee, developed runny nose, wouldn't eat or drink, became lethargic, was coughing and having trouble breathing. Kaylee had been sneezing but it turned bad quickly. I decided to take her to an emergency vet because she is 11 years old and I was afraid of the stress this could have on her heart. When I arrived with Kaylee the receptionist greeted me right away and asked what her symptoms were. I could tell she was knowledgable because she continued to ask questions to ascertain the full scope of Kaylee's distress. I waited for approximately five minutes before being taken to an exam room where her vitals were checked. It was only a few minutes later that the vet came in to see her. She was examined throughly, given a pulse-ox, fluids and antibiotics for a sever upper respiratory infection. The entire staff was friendly and very concerned for Kaylee. There were four other owners in the waiting room with me and we were all seem promptly and treated with respect. The entire trip only took an hour. They faxed the records of the visit over to my regular vet as well, which is great! I read all the reviews posted on Angie's list before taking my baby and was nervous but I chose them because all of the recent reviews were excellent. I am glad I chose this vet! There prices were competitive and realistic when you consider you are dealing with emergency treatment. They also accept the care card! My friend told me about the care card while I was looking for a vet. The care card can be applied for online before going and you can take the approval print out with you so that treatment can be done. So if you are having any financial concerns about being able to have your pet treated, you shouldn't. I have dealt with many emergency vets over the years and its nice to know there is somewhere I can go that truly cares about me and my pet and gives everyone the attention they deserve.

I called to tell them I was coming and when I arrived they were ready for me. They helped as much as they could. The price seems fair (It was for a day and a half of care, constant monitoring, and IV's).
