The body shop quoted me three days to complete the work. I call every day to inquire when the car will be finished. All I get is excuses that their shop is short staffed with no certain day of completion. Three weeks later, my Mercedes was finished. This is only part of the problem, the color is significantly different from the rest of this car. The first week after accepting delivery, the chrome came off the door and could have been lost on the road. The boot inside the door that protects the electrical and vacuum lines is broken. The pin in the door check strap has deep tool marks on it and the paint is chipped off the door post from hammering on the pin, its now starting to rust where the shop chipped off the paint.
Three months later: body filler began to fall out of the door due to improper surface preparation. The body shop did fix the door under warranty and once again the paint was a different color from the first attempt and not even a close match.
Do I recommend Huff Collision Center?  There is repair related damage on my car, the work had to be repeated due to poor workmanship. My car was at their shop for a month to replace a door and the estimate stated 3-4 days. The paint was not finished down nearly as smooth as the other panels creating more work for another shop to polish the panel to match. The interior was filthy with body shop dust all over the leather requiring extensive detailing to properly clean the seats.
*This body shop did honor the insurance estimate written by State Farm which can be unfair toward the shop and the customer.
