Our Hayward pool heat pump lost power due to a malfunctioning electrical component. Cullen Smith was called out to diagnose and to make repairs. Cullen was scheduled for our emergency service call late on a Wednesday afternoon but was unable to arrive until after dark. I was somewhat skeptical he could do anything so late in the day, but he guaranteed he would fix our heat pump. I have never experienced a service technician so thorough and helpful. Everything was checked and rechecked and he would not leave until everything worked perfectly. He took the time to show me how to prevent problems in the future that will certainly save me money later on. I would strongly recommend Cullen Smith from Universal and will make it a point to ask for him in the future should I ever need service.

I give this company a 5 star review because my a:c was fixed within 3 hours of calling the office. The technician gave us a 5 to 8pm window, he was here just about 5:30 and it only took a few minutes before he had our A/C up and running. Your technician was professional and polite.

Sam arrived on time the next day, got a call to schedule promptly, issue was resolved quickly, and they were able to talk with me on the phone after the fact to describe what the problem was, too, even after the problem was resolved. Plan on using them again.

There was a short in my cooktop. It was trying to fire and ignite when the it was locked. The technician called at 2 and said he would be here between 3 and 6. When I called at 6:15 to ask where he was he said he was right around the corner. He got here at 7. There was no call at any point to indicate that he was still coming and running late after the window passed. He did the assessment quickly and told me the part we need to be ordered and would be in in a couple of days. A few days passed and I didn't hear from them. I called the office and left a message and got no response. I escalated my home warranty company. I got a call from him the next day saying the part was in and he would complete the job almost 2 weeks later.

leaks, refreshed the refrigerant. Assan was courteous, knowledgeable,
willing to share that knowledge with me, offered suggestions about how
to improve the systems' efficiency, etc. This was a thoroughly enjoyable and successful interaction.
