Metal Fabrication and Restoration
I was not sure who to search for to do the work, as I did not think this was something a handyman could do. I finally located a metal fabricator in Springfield. He was not able to do the work at that time but did refer me to Southeast Sheet Metal Contractors, Inc. in Woodbridge. I went to the shop with my rod and a photo of how I was to use that rod. The owner was very helpful. He asked where I was coming from. And based on the distance, he asked me to sit and said he would see if he could do the work right then, so I would not have to come back. It only took maybe 15 or so minutes, and he did a great job. When I got home, the rod worked perfectly for what I needed. It was so encouraging to find a business that can still give such great customer service. And he did not charge me anything.
