Sixpenny Cleaning Service

I wanted to share my experience with this service as I hope it will help others make an informed decision. I spoke with the owner and she was friendly and anxious for my business. I was moving out and had specific things that needed to be done. One was to dust including ceiling cobwebs and dust. After two hours I noticed that one of the cleaners had only cleaned two blinds and broken both. I told her to stop cleaning the blinds and at her request called the company. From this point forward the cleaners did very little.. The owner of SixPenny agreed to an extra hour for free but it did not help me because the cleaners did not do anything I asked. After the 4 hours, they packed up without notifying me. On the way out they complained to my landlord (who was not paying for the service and did not hire them). I was not given an opportunity to review their work. I am not happy with the service from SixPenny cleaning. I had hoped the owner would have reached out, but I was told she was busy.

Quick turnaround and great quality service was provided.

I initially told them I wanted something similar to what me neighbors had. They gave me a walkway that was superior to my neighbors.

Franco was very helpful in helping me decide what would look good and then implementing it to perfection.

The technician was very knowledgeable and explained everything to us in layman's terms. He also did a thorough job of inspecting the chimney. Very customer oriented.

They were prompt, courteous, informative, and pleasant to deal with. I would hire them again.

Arrived on time. Guys explained the cleaning process and then performed the work. Very pleased with the outcome.

No surprises. Showed up when they said they would, were neat and polite, and cleaned up nicely. Did a great repair job on our chimney cap and the back of our fireplace walls. Hire these guys!

Excellent job and responsiveness.

Great front office staff and the same for the Technicians that cleaned our dryer ducts. Very good communication throughout the process. The price was a bit expensive but understandable as the Technicians jobs are very risky (tall houses with steep roofs required two Technicians).

The guys were very clean. They put tarps everywhere and cleaned up well.

We were told they needed the whole day n would be here at 8 am. We waited . Had no calls. Noonish we called n they came soon after. Within 3 hours they were done. Difficulty understanding one another due to Language difference. But work was good.

Same service as others, but very pricy as compared to others.

Steven did a great job inspecting and cleaning our gas fireplace. I would definitely recommend Sixpenny!

They were extremely professional. They took the time to explain the problem and how to prevent it from happening in the future including a product recommendation so that we could do this ourselves.

Choose your chimney services vendor with care. There are many and some are totally unreliable and/or overpriced. Sixpenny is outstanding and was the third vendor interviewed.

We were so happy with Sixpenny! They were pleasant and even came back the day after our appointment with a portable unit so their large truck wouldn’t need to be pulled onto our newly paved driveway. They were concerned the weight of their truck would compromise our brand new paving before it had time to fully set. Will definitely use them again next time!
