Good price.

Excellent job.  Explained everything he was looking at, took us through the options, including cost and reliability; did what he said he was going to do when he said he would do it (and just in advance of a major heat wave).  We had used him for repairs from time to time and had the same experience.  Very good as explaining how the system worked and why it was not working.  Cost was reasonable; he followed up to make sure everything was working.

SARCA has done HVAC work for us on two different houses since 2003.  In our previous house they replaced two HVAC units and a hot water heater.  The work took the time they estimated.  We were so impressed that at the end of each day the last thing they did was sweep up and tidy the work area.  Also, they were careful to wear "footies" whenever appropriate. The work was done on time and as promised.  We maintained an annual maintenance contract until we moved.

Since we moved to a new house in 2006, we have had SARCA do the annual HVAC maintenance.  They have replaced the hot water heater and 1 of 2 heat pumps.  As before, the work was done on time, as promised.

On occasion we have had to call at off hours and once on a weekend.  Each time we called, SARCA answered immediately and came to help us.  We have even asked for advice by text message:)

It is comforting to know that we have expert help that is so responsive.

With the 100+ days the heat pump was chilling the air down to 70 degrees which resulted in 80 degree room temperatures.  The thermostat was set at 74, but the heat pump could never attain that temperature until the outside temperature dropped to the nightly low just before sunrise.  As the heat increased from 85 up to 100 during the day the room temperature would go back up to 80 and the air was quite humid getting as high as 75% which made working from home quite uncomfortable.
After the refrigerant level was restored to the normal level the heat pump chilled the air down to 61 degrees which immediately resulted in the room temperature and humidity starting to return to normal. 
The technician arrived on time.  His equipment was new and well maintained.  He didn't try to up sell add ons.  He took his time to make sure everything worked well.  The work was done neatly and cleanly and there was no mess left behind.  He even offered the used capacitor to me if I wanted it.
It is refreshing to deal with someone that is honest and looking to keep customers for the long haul rather than trying to maximize the amount of money collected on each service call.  

Neighbor recommended former neighbor who knew his HVAC stuff and moved to Woodbridge and started his own company. Although many experiencing same problem at this start of heating season (and he and other techs are extremely busy), Sal came out and fixed my furnace quickly, inexpensively and professionally.
