Tim was able to figure out what breakers controlled what outlets and switches as the panel box was not 100% accurate. He spent several hours doing this as well as replacing several outlets and correcting some wiring that needed updating. He also replaced an outside outlet at the last minute that has never worked as long as I owned the home. Tim was very knowledgeable and even showed me how to do several things in case I need to make changes in the future. I would hire him again hands-down.

I initially asked Tim to install a ceiling fan on my porch and he informed me that I would need a county permit for proper installation. (Tim does work by-the-book!) Tim showed up exactly on time and I explained my wishes for the ceiling fan. I mentioned where he could tie in the power, and he told me that my idea was not the best solution, as a box would be placed in a non-standard place. He recommended tying into the already installed ceiling light. Of course, his recommendation was best. I assisted by crawling back in the attic and dropped the wire down through the flooring, and he was able to grab it and connect it with the box. He had me take a photograph of the box and connections, as he knew the county inspector would want to see it. He then assembled the ceiling fan and hanging bracket. Because I wanted a remote control, he had to custom cut two of the mounting screws. Once the fan was installed, he connected to the wire to the existing light fixture in the attic and stapled the cable to the rafters. He then checked the remote to ensure everything worked properly.

After diagnosis the technician onsite (Tim) was able to only replace one outlet to resolve the problem.  Very honest and easy to work with in your house.  A crooked, or even just greedy, company could have replaced all 3 items for hundreds of dollars more an we would have complied.

Tim was great and Sage is great.  First time we used them -but if needed they will be the first on my list for electricians.

Tim came to us via a friends recommendation about 5-6 years ago, and since then he has been most responsive to all of my electrical requirements.  From scheduling through his receptionist , through the work and follow-up, Sage Electric is professional.  His work is uncompromising--no shortcuts anywhere.  He is thoroughly knowlegeable of current codes, provides recommendations, and does the work to exact standards.  I have recommended him to many friends, and all agree--Sage Electric is a great company.  See for yourself and schedule your work with him.

Very well.  Cost much less than I expected.  From attic to basement and in between.  Especially the panel box.  Several different things throughout the house that needed repair and/or improvement for safety, per home inspection.  On time work.  Will use again.

The scheduler said that from my description the fan probably could not be repaired and in order to save a visit and an additional charge she recommended that I select and purchase a new ceiling fan before the electrician arrived. This seemed like a good plan so I purchased a new fan over the weekend. The electrician arrived promptly as scheduled and when he inspected the fan, he saw immediately that a screw had come loose. He disassembled the fan, found the screw and replaced it then checked out the whole fan and tightened all loose connections. He said the fan might need to be balanced but on checking, he found that it was almost perfectly balanced and didn't recommend any further action.  He then looked at the recessed light and immediately discovered that the bulb was a much higher wattage than the light was rated for and this was causing overheating and automatic shutdown. The whole process took under an hour so $125 might seem a bit high but he could easily have charged me far more by unnecessarily installing a new fan and/or recommending new wiring or components for the recessed light. He was extremely honest and professional and he will be the first person I call the next time I need an electrician.
