I contracted Perfect Cut Lawn Care for leaf removal in the fall. My leaves were blown behind my fence into a section of land I share with my back yard neighbors. Blowing the leaves was something I could have done myself; leaf removal (meaning haul away) was what I had expected since I had seen them hauling away leaves from my neighbor's yard. This did not happen for us. I had been quoted 475-500 but was charged 525.00 which is more than the quote for a job that was certainly not worth that price. All my leaves were gone from my yard, yes, but just put somewhere else that others have to look at from their backyard. Beyond the issue with the leaves was how the company left my yard. I can understand how an item on the ground under the leaves could be caught up in their mower and blowers, but a squirrel feeder in a tree? A hanging solar light? Both were knocked down and broken. Flower pots were blown over and not righted. Pieces of downspout were blown off and found in other parts of the yard, busted. I mentioned this to the owner, Lee, but his response was along the lines of "that sort of thing can happen." Not sure how it does without people just being careless. Needless to say, I do not recommend this company, at least not for leaf removal.

We became too busy to cut our own lawn. My grass started as bright green before hiring Perfect Cut Lawn Care. Shortly after their first fertilizer treatment, 3 large patches seemed to have died overnight. The owner Lee convinced me it's because of the sun. We've never had that issue before and the areas that died were mostly shaded. They even charged me to put down new top soil and dirt after killing the grass. Slowly my entire lawn began to die. I now just have a giant lump of dirt in my front and back yard. They still come back every single tuesday and cut my yard even though the grass has not grown an inch in nearly 2 months. Very bizarre. They rarely respond to emails, so when I asked about aerating and seeding, you are added to the schedule, but you'll never know when they will perform services beyond the cutting. I ended up requesting to cancel and they said they have a two week cancellation policy. My home has an instant cancellation policy when I don't have a contract with a company. Lucky for me!

I hired perfect cut last year to do our weekly cutting. They tore up the yard with their mowers and there are now bald patches of dirt. This year, they resumed service without asking and were very rude when I asked why they were charging me.

At 1045 hours in 18 April 2018, I left a voice mail message with the Woodbridge Perfect Cut Law Care office requesting an estimate for periodic lawn care and annual landscaping. Mr. Lee Keyser returned my call at 1145 hours. We talked about the size of my property and what I wanted done. He told me his average lawn price. I asked if he could give me an estimate for my property. Although his advertising says his office is licensed and insured, I live in an adjoining county. My previous service had been fired because they used day laborers who were more interested in earning their daily eating money than they were in doing a quality job. This, I asked if it would be a problem seeing as copy of his business license and certificate of insurance. He indicated there would be no problem. Knowing I would be out of quarters between 1200 and 1400 hours on Thursday, I advised him of my schedule. He said he would be at my location before 1200. I also mentioned that I would not be in quarters on Friday until 1400. When I returned on Thursday, there was no evidence of his visit -- no hang tag nor business card, with an estimate; no paperwork in my door. Thinking he had been unavoidably delayed, I waited for Friday. Arriving home at 1400 hours, I again found no evidence of his visit. A call to his cell phone sent me directly to voice mail. I left a message saying that unless I heard from him on Friday, I would assume he did not want my business. A competitor is now providing my lawn care and landscaping. I tried leaving a review on the company's web site. When I had finished, and hit the "Submit" button, I received a 404 error telling me that their page could not be found. My review to the company was a waste of time.

Very nicely. I've never had a lawn service before and found Mr. Keyser's company through Angie's List. His crew did my yard work in 2017. I had them weed and "pretty up" my front yard, and wow, it was fit for a magazine! The weed treatment in my backyard was harsh, I have lots of brown patches as a result, but my backyard is kind of hopeless, it has many different kinds of grass and more kinds of weeds, so maybe they did me a favor. Call in the cement trucks! But seriously, they did a good job cutting the lawn. I should add I'm handicapped and caring for the lawn in the last few years has been almost impossible. But I have appreciated the care I've received. My backyard is pretty big (in my eyes) so those large mowers they have really are great. They do good work. His crew is excellent.

Both treatment were done as I expected and they were very responsive when I called and punctual in the work that needed to be done. They quoted me a price for mowing that was below all the other bids I got. The aeration work was more than I assumed but then the lawn is much larger so that justified the higher cost. Still, at the old house, much smaller yard, they charged me more than half of what I paid perfect cut. The new house has a much larger front and side yard, this was what I had them aerate. The old house had less total yard then the new house with just the front and side yard. I have some more work for them and I will be calling them today.

The guys name is Lee Keiser. Here is my complaint with them .THye use those huge lawn mowers that are for massive fields and I have a tiny little yard so it doesn't ever get mowed quit low enough as if a small lawn mower was used. But their consistent. It's only $25 a mow, so like $100 a month. Their on time and consistent. I just don't like that they use those big tools it doesn't get cut low enough. Maybe they do that so they come back all the time. The guys are good. One time I had a coupon to use and he called me back stating I couldn't use it and I think that was bad customer service. I think he should have just honored it and told me that going forward I could not use it. That's just my two sense on that, he just rubbed me the wrong way with that. I think he should check in with me more to see what I think of his work. He sends coupons but their only for new customers. I just dont think hes customer friendly sometimes, but I've been using him for four years now.
