Carpet Cleaning

I found the provider via Groupon to provide carpet cleaning for two rooms of an empty apartment I was leaving. I booked this carpet cleaning almost 2 weeks ahead of time for 04/19: 1. The provider failed to communicate with me in a timely fashion the day of that the carpet cleaner was running late (by 3 hours!! and hadn't even finished the previous job he was on) until I called them at 2:30p, to verify that the driver was at least on his way (my appointment was at 2pm, and the day before (04/17) I was told he would be at my apartment by 3pm-3:30p at the latest). In hindsight, my assumption is because the job before me was more "profitable" for them (a house greater "much greater than 1500 square feet") they decided to dishonor my appointment altogether. 2. Lourdes, the CEO of the company whom I was on the phone with, assured me that she would call me with a more accurate ETA after our conversation around 5p and if that wasn't available then she could send someone first thing the next day at 8am to do the job. I expressed to her that I preferred to have the job done 04/18 because I have to return the keys to the complex 04/19. I NEVER got a call from either Lourdes nor the carpet cleaner, and when I called the office back at approx 5:15pm, turns out there office is closed. Wow. (Note: At this point, I've already waited on PCS for almost 3 hours) 3. Wishful thinking, I assumed that maybe the CEO just pushed my job to 8am the next day instead as an alternative? Nope, no one showed up. So I called the office when there offices opened in the morning and left PCS a message to determine if anyone was coming at all to clean my apartments carpet being that I need to return the keys to apartment complex later that day as it was my last day. No one got back to me. 4. Later that day, I borrowed my fathers phone to call them, and THEN they answered the call. Then it occurred to me: they were intentionally ignoring my number. They knew they messed up but rather than deal with me in a professional matter and follow up with me, they just ignored my calls and at NO POINT told me no would be coming to service my apartment. Valerie, who answered the phone when I called with my father phone number, was EXTREMELY rude and one of the most unprofessional, disrespectful employees' of I ever encountered to date. She yelled that she wasn't going to "give me a discount" and when I tried to explain to her that I'm not looking for an additional discount and all I wanted was for my carpets to be cleaned being that I'm leaving the apartment and that's a requirement of the complex that I'm staying with and, at this point, I'm in a time crunch because today is the last day (lets not forget I booked this almost 2wks ago). She just yelled that she "had other customers to deal with" and hung up on me. Because my job isn't as big or detailed like a house, am I still not considered a customer? I have NEVER written a negative review about any company but the service provided by PCS was so disappointing and unprofessional, that beyond this negative review I have contacted the Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureau. I hope no one ever has to deal with a company such as PCS again. They used to have a Yelp page on which earlier I saw a plethora of negative reviews of experiences that seem very similar to mine, but that page has since been taken down (shocker).
