Work went very well. The contractor arrived as scheduled and completed everything to our full satisfaction. Everyone was very professional and helpful. Their pricing was excellent. I would recommend them and use them again.

The work was completed as bid and on time. The cost estimate was by far the lowest of the three companies contacted. The staff was very professional and polite. I would definite hire them again.

These guys were honest, careful, respectful, professional, and efficient. They showed up to do the work exactly when they said they would. They worked very hard to deconstruct the chimney and then rebuilt it. I am writing this sitting by my fireplace right now! They did a fine job of inspecting both flues. They swept out one and put a liner in the other. Great people!

Marcos kindly came by on a Saturday to give us a quote even though they normally don't do weekend visits. He was very friendly and was the only contractor we got a quote from who took the time to take pictures and explain all of the issues (the other contractors were highly rated on Angie's List as well). His original quote was higher than the other ones we received, but he came down in price when we said we would prefer to go with Nicto if he could match the other guys. Getting the contract signed, scheduling the work, and rescheduling once due to rain was no hassle at all. The team that did the work was very courteous and professional. They put down drop cloths and made sure to keep the living room clean. Nothing was damaged. They completed the job in less than two days. I would definitely recommend hiring Nicto if you have extensive chimney work that needs to be done.

It went awesome. Nitco showed up on time and was very efficient in the completion of their work. Throughout the process, they walked me through everything they were doing. I would definitely hire them again.

Nicto is fantastic. The work was completed on time, and looked great. They cleaned up all of the mess. The cost was significantly less than another estimate. Also, another company stated we needed a new liner. Nicto inspected and said we did not need a liner. Marcos came to inspect the work and make sure we were happy before getting the final payment. Everyone is extremely professional...from the office staff, to the brick layers and laborers to Marcos. I was extremely happy. They will be my chimney company from now on. I also will be calling them in a couple of months to clean our dryer vents.

They were prompt, good & very professional.  They showed me what the problems were and said what they needed to do to correct it.  I was impressed with the technology they used in terms of using the camera and being able to get up and take pictures of what was wrong.  I would strongly recommend them in the future.

Marcos was absolutely excellent ! He gave me a great price for the work, did not try to tell me that I needed something I didn't need (as others had tried to), was honest, skilled, thorough and went the extra mile. Marcos made sure I was totally satisfied before we settled the bill and even came back to do some touchups. I recommend this company and Marcos highly- they are my Go-To chimney professionals from now on !

I had been having water seeping through the bricks in my chimney off and on for years but had been unable to determine where the water was coming from. After consulting many, many service companies I was still unable to correct the problem. The thing I did know was that it was not coming from rain leaking through my roof. Nicto Chimney Service was the only company that did not immediately head for my roof looking for a leak. The minute he looked at the outside of the chimney in the kitchen and saw the mineral deposits and stains he asked to see my furnace--no one had ever asked to see my furnace so I admit I thought this can't be right. He discovered that my furnace vents through the chimney and condensation was forming on the inside then seeping through the bricks. I needed a new chimney liner. All my questions were answered in detail before scheduling a date for the work to be done. They arrived right on time and completed the work in a day. I was even able to see the completed liner by way of a remote tv camera.  I have had no more trouble with water seeping through the bricks since the work was completed!  I was impressed with their knowledge and work and would use them again.

NITCO arrived as scheduled. Estimated the cost of the chimney repair work.  After getting a second estimate, we found that NITCO's prices were better and the work they planned made more sense. We were concerned about matching the grout with out existing grout, but they did an outstanding job on that. Also did an excellent job on the chimney sweep.

They were very friendly, courteous and professional.  Did a great job.  They were also very accommodating on rescheduling due to inclement weather.  Specifically the technician was willing to do the work during a holiday weekend.

These guys were very good and worked really hard it was an all day job starting at 8 AM and they finished at about 7:30 PM. I got them from the Acme Stove. Which was were we purchased it. They are in Fairfax VA on Lee Highway. Really great people there as well I will do a separate review for them but if you need any stove related things or wood see Tony White at Acme. If you need any Chimney work or liners or wood stove installations cleanings call NICTO. They were great my installer was Walter Trejo. He was nice his crew was very clean and careful in and around our house as it can be a messy job. I had 3 estimates and he was the best price and his work is excellent. We will be using him for all cleaning in the future. Unfortunately we can use the new stove now as it's almost June but we got a great deal on it from Tony and we also purchased a showroom model he had in the shop.

We were surprised to be told that significant work needed to be done when they had just been hired last year for our home inspection to purchase the home and they made no mention of it. Very frustrating and now we're nervous to use our wood stove and are frustrated to go through the estimate and bidding process with them and other providers when it could have been done last year and covered by the sellers.

Nicto Chimney Sweep was apparently a subcontractor to Michael and Sons who apparently does work for Woodburners Two which is the company we thought we were working with. None of this was disclosed to us at the time we booked the cleaning.
Nicto failed to show up for the first appointment and did not call to let us know. We had to call to find out what happened and to reschedule.
When they finally did show they vacuumed out the firebox and went up on the roof to look at the chimney for a brief period of time. They would not clean the chimney because they said we now needed a steel insert which had not been required several years ago when the insert was installed by Woodburners Two. They were happy to try to sell us an insert for $3500 which we declined.
We were still charged the full price of $289.00. We tried to get some of our money refunded since very little actual work was done but we're not successful.

Very clean and professional.  Showed up on time and performed all services to expectation (which is high).  Reasonable pricing.

Nicto had a staff of very nice and professional workers.  We never wanted to rebuild our chimney because we have see other houses that have it done and it does not match.  The chimney was so cracked from the hard winter that we were concerned about water damage if we did fix it.  Nicto did a great job of finding new bricks (ours had cracked) and matched the mortar color very well.  They finished the job on time.  I recommend using them for chimney work.  They were a referral from Bromwells - the Fireplace people in Falls Church.
