I prefer to work with smaller local outfits when possible rather than the larger companies. I like the personal touch and prompt attention that comes from the smaller businesses; the big ones tend to be impersonal and often indifferent. Working with Shawn at My Tech Mobile Auto Glass was further confirmation of my preference. Shawn took the call personally, worked up the quote, explained it thoroughly, and understood when I said I'd call back after getting more quotes. When I did call back he was gracious and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Shawn called ahead to let me know he was en route and arrived precisely on time. The work was done quickly and professionally. Shawn's work is of the highest quality while maintaining the most competitive pricing. I hope I don't need another new windshield anytime soon but I'll be calling Shawn again if I do.

I learned about Shawn through Tyrone at Nu Pro Auto Glass in D.C. My daughter's 2006 Ford Escape that I had bought for her just one month prior had a long crack at the bottom of the windshield near the inspection sticker. Tyrone at Nu Pro couldn't fit me over the weekend due to all of the rain make-ups they had to take care of but he recommended I give Shawn a call. Shawn used to work for Nu Pro before venturing out and creating his own business.
Shawn answered right away when I called him and said he would call me back in 10 minutes. He called me back in less than 5 minutes. He asked my availability and we agreed on Sunday, 2 Mar 14, between noon and 2:00 pm. On Sunday morning, Shawn called to see if I was available for him to come early (winter storm warning in effect). I wasn't quite ready yet so he came as scheduled and, again, called me when he was about 20 minutes from arrival.
Shawn and Brett were very professional and courteous. They were personable, honest, and hard-working. They even went above and beyond and put on a rear wiper blade and WD-40'd the tracks of her front door windows (they were squeaking when they were rolled up and down).
