Mid-Atlantic Contracting, Inc. recently replaced our roof, repaired the chimney & rerouted bathroom fan vent duct work for us. They did an excellent job! The company president, Erick Fletcher, was very hands on and oversaw all aspects of the job. He is very knowledgeable & competent. The workers were professional, courteous & very accommodating. They did a terrific job of clean up, including using a metal rake to ensure all roofing nails were picked up around the house & in the driveway. The job was completed in one day on our ranch with its 4,200 sq. ft. roof. There was an issue with the fan in the master bath that wasn’t noticed until it was used the next day. Erick came back to fix it without hesitation. Lindsey & Vanessa, in the office, were pleasant & helpful when calling/emailing Mid-Atlantic. We highly recommend this company & would not hesitate to use them for any future work we needed done.

I would highly recommend MidAtlantic contracting Inc. for any roof repairs, painting, drywall repairs, etc. They are a fantastic family run company, they worked with us during two extensive repairs due to weather related damage, they were there every step of the way providing answers to help with our insurance claims and to answer our million questions. A special shout out to Erick and Lindsay for all their time and effort and if you need any painting done, Ask for Roberto hands-down best painter ever! They do truly fantastic work!!!!

Our project included complicated roofing completion/repairs, new gutters, downspouts and leaf guards. We were looking for a company who could do all of this work and provide a warranty. We had many companies to choose from but selected MAC after Erick Fletcher came to assess our roofing needs. Erick was knowledgeable, thorough and very pleasant to work with. The project took about 2 1/2 days to complete. Erick was on site regularly to make sure the work was done to specifications. Customer service was exceptional. Lindsey coordinated every detail from setting up the estimate, reviewing the contract with us, scheduling the work and making sure we were completely satisfied with the work before collecting payment. It is obvious this is a family owned business with many years of experience who take great pride in their work. The 5 year warranty is amazing. We couldn't be happier with MAC and highly recommend them.

I had some repair issues before the new roof could be completed and Erick and his team addressed every need. MAC offers competent work performed by courteous professionals at a competitive price---the 3 Cs.

I was at a neighbors house when the MAC walker came to the door. I started walking away thinking it was a sales guy (which it was) looking to sell something but he was talking about a storm that occured in the area and insurance would cover it. That perked up my ears because my roof was a disaster and at the end of its life and the siding wasn't much better. I walked back to the door and after his pitch i told him to come to my house and check it out. I signed a contract and the next day Caleb came by and to make a long story short in a matter of days I had my insurance guy and he looking over my house and it was approved for a total makeover. New roof, siding and gutters. Caleb even worked his magic and upgraded my gutters from 5 inches to 6 inches at no additional cost. The entire project took about 3 weeks to complete and I couldn't be happier. My siding is beautiful and was professionally installed. They went over my lawn numerous times to make sure no nails or other hazards would be found by my 5 year old. The roofiing crew was fantastic! They were efficient, thorough and just a great group of guys. I couldn't be happier with my siding, roof and beautiful new 6 inch gutters! I'd use MAC again in a heartbeat!

Eric did a fantastic job. He and his crew were very professional and finished the job in a timely manner. Especially given the job turned out to be more than anticipated. I'm happy to say I now finally have no more leaks!

We had a substantial leak in a closet under a wide slightly sloping aluminum valley between the old house and a kitchen addition. We asked several roof contractors to provide a quote for replacing this valley. Erick Fletcher of MidAtlantic Contracting proposed the right technical solution while the others did not. He did away with the aluminum, provided a nail free solution, and performed the job professionally, quickly and at a competitive price. We are very happy with the result.

Discovered the leak at midnight and it was fixed 13 hours later. I loved being able to book an appointment on line immediately. Erick also cleaned the leaves from all the valleys on the roof. He was on time very nice.

Erick and his crew did a great job with my roof repair. They arrived at my house exactly when they said they would and fixed a valley that wasn't draining well into the gutter. They replaced about 2 sheets of plywood, laid down a membrane in the valley, and re-shingled. They also replaced some rotten wood under the eave and caulked and painted everything so water can no longer drip where it shouldn't. Erick was on-site for some of the job, and then even came back *twice* to inspect the final work and apply some more caulking and painting when I asked. Very high marks for customer service and making sure I was satisfied! Erick seems like genuinely good guy who is not out to scam you, but will do quality work for a fair price. I'm not sure if this was intentional, but there was one high-pressure sales tactic he used saying he could do the job tomorrow for $X, but if I waited until next week the price would be $X + 40%. He said he had no work scheduled for tomorrow so he'd give a "discount" if they could lock in the job right away (i.e. tomorrow). This was at 5pm and he said he'd need to know by 6pm if we wanted them to come back tomorrow for $X. I ended up taking the deal and paid $X and I still thought it was a fair price -- plus I really wanted to get my roof fixed quickly -- so I guess it worked out for all parties. It's just something to be aware of with any contractor who quotes different prices for the same job if done at different times. Something else that struck me as odd was that Erick and his team showed up to do the job but didn't bring any shingles. They brought plenty of other supplies like plywood, feltpaper, composite board, etc but no shingles. That required him to drive to his warehouse to pick up the shingles while his workers continued the demolition of the roof section they were repairing, then he had to go back again because he didn't bring enough shingles on the first trip. Maybe he didn't have time to pick up shingles in the first place or wasn't sure how many shingles he'd need, but it was something that I noticed. It made him look a little unprepared. With the delay to get shingles, and the lunch/rest breaks for the workers, it took the whole day (9a-5p) to finish the repair, but eventually the job was completed and I'm happy with the quality of the work.

Would hire these guys again. Did a great job on a roof replacement and even threw in some exterior painting.

MidAtlantic Contracting, a local family-owned business, quickly responded to my request for a roofing estimate. I was given a very fair price for two-layer of shingles removal and the installation of new 30-year shingles. The estimate also included a ridge-line vent which the house had never had, replacement of bathroom roof vents and an ice and water shield for the roof edges. MidAtlantic was able to install the new roof the next day. The crew came on time and worked diligently and efficiently. They completed the project in one day, did a superb job and totally cleaned up the job site. I am very happy with the work they did, the quality of the installed roof, and the value for the dollar. I would highly recommend MidAtlantic to anyone who needs roof repair or replacement.

Reached out to Mid Atlantic Contracting through Home Advisor after purchasing a home 10 days ago because we had a leak in the sunroom. I got a quote from another Roofing company the day before saying it was going to cost me $4,500.00 to replace just the roof on the sunroom. Erick (from Mid Atlantic) showed up and evaluated the roof and was very honest. He thoroughly explained why the roof was leaking and went over all the costs, materials, and warranty that it would take to fix($800.00). Also my vent boot was broken over my kitchen and he fixed that on the spot at a very low cost. I am definitely hiring him and his crew. Great Job Erick, I will be using him on other fixes I need around the house. In an industry where people are going to lie to you and get away with it just to get more money. This guy is no joke and does great, honest work at a reasonable price!

Erick was friendly and courteous. He completed the work in a timely manner and removed all debris. He did not try to sell me unneeded services. I would utilize his services again.
