Meneses Landscaping

We have 70-ft trees behind our home and could not get grass to grow in the back yard. So we decided to remove all the grass and install a large stone patio, water feature, fire pit, and walkways around the exisitng deck, gazebo, landscaping, and drainage system. Nilton Meneses came highly-recommended by a friend who had previously used his services. So we invited Nilton and two other contractors to provide us design and cost estimates. We really loved Nilton's design and his cost was below the other two contractors. Nilton allowed me to provide input to the initial design and involved me in the installation process to tweak things as the project progressed. He and his crew were here every day (except where Mother Nature intervened). They removed all the existing grass, installed a large lovely stone patio, seating wall, water feature, additional landscaping, decorative stacked stone landscape walls, pillars and decorative pots, and outdoor lighting. We originally planned to build a stone firepit, but Nilton suggested that we might want to start with a portable firepit to see if we would really use it and enjoy it before building a permamnent structure. We appreciated his approach even though it resulted in a reduction in the overall project cost. When he finished, they cleaned up all debris and rermaining building materials. He came back the next week to tweak the outdoor lighting once we had an opportunity to see what it looked like at night. He came back again after a hard rain to revise the landscaping around the pre-exisitng drainage system to ensure the water drained properly. We now have a wonderful backyard oasis that we enjoy every day!
