Outstanding! When you think of a local, mom/pop garage, this is it. This is not one of those mega garages, or car dealerships with dozens of mechanics. The work is done by Don, the owner. He takes great pride in providing auto repair service to his customers, who he treats like family. It may take a little bit longer than your typical big box garage, but it's done right the first time. Don wont let your car out of his garage without ensuring it's road-ready.

I recommend this company highly. He charges less than the dealerships for way better work. He knows way more than the dealership knows. People take their classic cars there to get worked on and they are very picky. He is just great.

Don was very pleasant to talk to. Don explained what he was going to do to resolve the overheating issue in my car. The work was completed by the end of the day. There was a problem while paying via credit card as the payment would not go through. The credit card equipment was 'acting up' and Don had to call and talk to the support people to resolve the issue.

After bringing my 2007 Saturn Sky in twice (once by tow truck), Don actually took the time to see what was really going on with my car. The first time I towed it in there was no check engine light on, so he really wasn't able to pinpoint the issue. Several codes came up, but he did choose to repair every little thing they referred to. There were too many to choose from. When I had my brother drive it in the second time (Don said do not turn the engine off, as a check engine light was finally on). Well, he still wasn't happy with what the codes were telling him and after much internet research and some phone calls he decided on the solenoids. So far, so good! I am extremely happy with the experience @ Mechanix. Please keep in mind that it is just him and his son- they normally let the machine get the phone!! Would recommend to anyone who has had issues with dealers!

They do a lot of work. I have been using them for years. The owner is Donald Moore. It is pretty much him and his son who carry out the service. He personally checks all the work. Everything is excellent.
