Horrible. The floor manager argued with me on the sales floor that a day after purchase they wouldn't fix a small part of the rear side panel that wasn't attached or replace the key they gave me for a totally different make and model of vehicle. I was expected to pay for their mistakes one day after purchase. I've called multiple times since March and have never received a call back. All I want is a functioning key I paid for and a mild repair to the back panel but I've been completely ignored.

Our 2011 Sonata would not start so we had it towed to Malloy for servicing. It was the starter that was bad, but luckily it was covered under the 60,000 mile warranty so it cost us nothing. It was late in the day 7:00 pm and the service department was still open when we arrived, and helped us get the car "checked-in." The maintenance and state inspection was performed completely, even on a Saturday, and we were able to pay with our credit card over the phone and pick up the car later in the day after they had closed because of our previous plans. Car has performed flawlessly since.

Excellent experience. I went in Sunday with a price and description of the car I wanted. They didn't have the exact configuration available and searched through the inventory to find one. They found it in NC and had it shipped in. It arrived within 24 hours and they called me to pick it up. It is beautiful. They met the price I wanted and trim level. Frankie was great! Assuming the car stands up to the test of time (which it should based on all the reviews!) I'd use them again.

We were satisfied with them and we ended up purchasing the car through them. After visiting other dealerships we were the happiest with them. The salesman that we dealt with seemed really knowledgeable, very down to earth and he wasn't pushy. We spent $15600 on our car.

After countless trips to dealerships in the area and being treated horribly at best, i.e., not giving me the price of the car until I test drove it, being left in the waiting room while they discussed prices with their managers for almost an hour, I stopped by Malloy on my way home one evening because I was really interested in checking out the Mazda CX-7 based on what I had read online. I was greeted in the parking lot and when I told them I was just looking they backed off and said they would be around if I had any questions or was interested in test driving anything. About 15 minutes after being left alone to look at all the different colors and options and the differences between the CX-7 and CX-9, I asked to take a test drive of the CX-7. As soon as I test drove it, I knew I loved it. I left the dealership that evening with all the price/options info and never once felt any pressure from the salesperson. I did some research online to determine the price/options info I wanted and called them the next day to discuss a final price. I took my car to Carmax that evening for an appraisal and headed back to the dealership with a price from another dealership in hand that I found online. Malloy met the price advertised by the other dealer online, ended up giving me more then the Carmax appraisal for my Mustang and had to go pick up the SUV with all the options I wanted from another dealership in Virginia. The entire experience was the best dealership experience I've ever had and I will definitely consider them again when purchasing a car and have already referred them to others.

Had purchased a Mazda at Malloy in 2001 despite a number of other Mazda dealers located closer. After researching and negotiating "out-the-door" (OTD) prices, including everything -- taxes, tags, freight, and processing fees -- with a range of other area dealerships via Internet and email, once again Malloy beat the competition by about $1,000. Malloy also met the CarMax appraisal for a trade, again offering more than other dealers. The car was ready when I arrived to pick it up. The process -- including the finance paperwork -- was efficient and fast. No pressure or hidden costs. The salesman was Lonnie Murvin. General Dos: Wherever you buy a car, research prices online first. Check best deals via buying services like those offered by COSTCO, USAA, Consumers Reports, BJs, Credit Unions, etc. Visit dealerships only to examine models and test drive. Conduct all subsequent negotiations via email from the comfort of your office or home to avoid wasting time and being subjected to pressure and persuasion in the showroom. Check and double check figures. Be sure that your final OTD price in fact includes everything as cited above. Advertised prices, Internet prices and even price quotes on standard format from dealers do not usually include everything. Ask for a breakdown in writing beforehand. BOTTOM LINE: I have found the Malloy MAZDA dealership to be the most willing to negotiate. AQ satisfied customer, I would return there again and recommend them, with the caveat that buyers do their homework first as they should wherever they buy.
