The pricing was good. I was pleased with the product. If you need a part, they'll get it.

Upon entering the store one is struck with the realization that organization, orderliness and neatness are not their strong suits. There were narrow aisles in which to maneuver around stacks of used computers. In corners on the floor there were piles of used cords, wires and small parts. There was not a computerized inventory of parts as far as I know, but I had the feeling they knew where everything was located and that they could account for most of it. When I showed them the problem with my computer the first response was why don't you fix it yourself? I explained that if I could I would have done just that. The second response was that I had a very old computer and would I like to look at a replacement for it. I explained that my only attachment to the computer was the irreplaceable data. I was then turned over to someone else to handle my problem. I again answered some of the same questions. It was then explained they they would replace the power button or, perhaps, replace the entire front panel inasmuch as they retained an inventory of old computer parts. The cost was then explained. For immediate service within the first two days the price was $72.00 an hour. For service for the third day and beyond the price was $60.00 per hour plus parts. I said I would like to have it done as soon as they could get to it. When I picked up the computer three days later, the charge was $60.00 for regular service and $15.00 for the replacement front panel. Before I left the store they plugged in the computer and asked me to check to see if everything was working properly.

They were very helpful. They had the item we were looking to replace. They bought the part from me that didn't work. We thought we would have to have the port replaced, but they were able to get us a universal adapter. I was pleased with the service.

Asked Susy of L&Y Electronics that I needed a 1MB memory SODIMM chip for a Dell X300 notebook to replace a 512K SODIMM chip. She gave me store credit of $70 for three 10/100 switches that she can resell. Normally installation would be about $60. I kept the 512K SODIMM to reuse.
