They were our life savers on a massive water line break in our front yard.  It was about $1,000 to repair, then he came out in January of 2015 and did a full water line replacement from the street all the way into the house and that was approximately $5,000. Nathan is the owner there, and he is just unbelievable!

He dug up the front yard and went all the way from the street, all the way to inside the house, came inside the house and rerouted the water line, put new valve boxes in and everything. It was the whole thing, drilled through the outside of the wall and everything.

Our sewer was backing up into the basement and we had gotten this company in to clean it once before to the edge of our property because they advertised that they scoped with a special camera down the pipe after cleaning.  It was cleaned and then scoped and everything looked fine.  This time we got a major clean-out, which carries a 10-year warranty where he will come back and re-clean the sewer for no extra charge, and he made sure that he went all the way to the street (main sewer line).  Nathan, the owner, found a major root ball that was not there just a few months before.  However, he gave me a good piece of advice.  He told me that next time there was a back-up, we should start by calling the water authority to make sure it was my problem (and not their problem) before calling him or someone else at my expense.  This came in handy because just 3 months later, we had another back-up - I called our Water Authority (Prince William) and they came quickly.  It did turn out to be their problem and they covered our losses from that incident.
The reason I am adding this review at this time is that my daughter in Falls Church had a problem with a water back-up during a rainstorm in May, 2014 at the house she had moved into in December 2013.  I told her to call this company.  Nathan showed up quickly and they learned that their sump pump had failed.  He installed a new pump for them for a very good price (according to my daughter).  They have had no problems since.
And the only reason I called them to do our work was that I bought a product called Bio-Clean from him years before because he was the only one who sold it in the area.

This was an extreme circumstance where sewer ejector pump failed leading to back up in ejector pit and loss of water sewer for almost 7 days. (this is a new home only 2 years old). Our home builder was out of town for the first 3 days of this job and eventually replaced the pump at no cost. However, we were stuck with Land G since it was an emergency. Instead of expediting the work, Land G brought us an RV to rent! For 2,000 for the week. We had it one night and returned it and were charged $700. It was likely that the outside excavation was unnecessary and could have been done from inside the home. Throughout the job which took over a week to complete, we were without water or sewer. They would show up at 11 or 12 each day and only work a few hours (mainly one worker hand digging the hole).
There were several attempts by supervisor to solicit unrelated business during the process from us.
1- offered a home inspection to see "what else is wrong with this new home" after the job was completed
2- offered a bid to install French drains for $10,000
3- offered to install ejector pump for another $5, 000
4- the RV rental which interestingly was delivered by his wife!
Bottom line $5,700 to dig a hole and fill it in and one night for an RV which was unused. One sometimes two workers, labor total hours around 24 hours.

It was a great experience! Land G set up the appointment that was convenient for my husband and me. They arrived promptly and were very friendly. Our water heater sits under some stairs so it's a little tricky to maneuver...but Land G were real champs! They removed the old water heater without too much trouble and before we knew it, the new one was in and working great! Land G made sure all of the water and gas connections were properly fitted and cleaned up their work space. As replacing water heaters goes, this was a very good experience and I would recommend Land G.

My house is on a slope and the garage/basement area had been flooding since we moved into the house in 1962. Despite two sump pumps, we still had water pushing up through the concrete floor every heavy rain. This made it a large, damp, unusable space which constantly threatened to flood into the furnished part of the basement. Nathan's wonderful employees jackhammered the floor and installed french drains in the garage, installed battery backups for the sump pumps, and installed a new discharge line underground to direct the water further into the backyard. After testing, they found that water was also coming through the foundation in an area hidden by a built-in workbench and closet. They disassembled the workbench and closet, preserving the wood for me, and installed an additional waterproofing barrier along the walls in those areas. The garage/basement has been bone dry ever since. I am absolutely delighted with the work they did and recommend them wholeheartedly. (My only suggestion would be to cover things in any area where they will be jackhammering. I didn't think to do this, and had a lot of dust to clean up afterward.) For their part, they were very neat and removed all the debris they created. A wonderful, wonderful company.

Plumbers arrived slightly later than anticipated, but called ahead. Arrived with replacement tank. I provided a hot water heater pan and PVC pipe for new heater. Plumber installed pan and used PVC pipe provided to run drain to sump pump. I needed to run out purchase additional PVC elbows for drain pipe for installation of drain. Plumber removed and installed heater while I ran errands. Master plumber answered all questions regarding new heater. Area left clean and no evidence that they had removed old heater and brought in new heater. Heater located in basement with no walkout. So they had to bring it throught the house.

Plumber arrived later than originally told. Plumber was very courteous and professional. He had the pump ready to replace upon arrival. He encountered some minor problems because of the builder's poor installation of the original sump pump. He answered all my questions regarding the configuration of the sump pump and well. Job compeleted in an hour. He left the area clean. Land G Drain provided a extra year warantee on the pump at no extra cost. Based on my experience, I had him come a week later to replace hot water tank.

It's not their primary work, but they did an excellent job. I plan on using him again when I remodel by basement bathroom. They still have to put in a retaining wall, but they wanted the dirt to settle first. Their prices were comparable to competitors, but they were not going to put in a french drain and put in a new wall like L & G.
