I cannot speak more highly of Harold and his work at Justice. After purchasing a home last in April of 2017, we went nearly a year without Air Conditioning due to an unknown problem that seemed to get worse and worse with each visit from our Home Warrantee contractors. After a referral from a neighbor, I gave Harold a call, and he was able to fit a service visit in that same week to do a diagnostic. After spending a few hours taking apart the unit, he was able to identify the problem, but not the source. Incorrect components were installed previously, seemingly damaging the unit beyond repair. Clearly frustrated that he could fix the issue, Harold recommended a full replacement and agreed to send me a quote the next week. However, instead of a quote, I received a phone call asking if he could come back out to take another look. He was back that same day, with one more idea to try... lo and behold, it worked. Now a few months later, the unit is still running perfectly. My understanding is that the electrical needed rewiring. Regardless, I am very grateful for his work. After dealing with so many HVAC servicers that performed lackluster, or downright damaging work, Harold was a refreshing change of pace. He was committed to fixing the problem, very friendly, reasonably priced, and went above and beyond to fix our problem. I cannot recommend him enough.

Harold and his son were excellent. We got all the benefits of working with a well-run, small family business. They were incredibly flexible with our schedule, which required an unusual level of coordination since we also had to coordinate the work with a landscaping company at the same time. They were very responsive, exchanging text messages with me to answer questions and coordinate timing. When doing the work, they were professional and friendly and respectful of our property while also being efficient. They seemed very knowledgeable about the technology and even saved us money by pointing out that a part that another HVAC company had told us needed to be replaced was actually working fine. Finally, even excluding that cost savings, their price for the work they did perform came in several hundred dollars less than their much larger competitor. All in, Harold saved us over $1,000 vs. the estimate from the other company. Will definitely use again.

Herald the owner came out to our house to look at or unit which was not working. He was very knowledgable and professional. We decided it needed to be replaced. Great price, I shopped, three other competitors and herald beat them all. He installed the new unit in one day and very respectful of our house. Would highly recommend.

Harold always does a great job... if he is running late, he calls. He is friendly , thorough and trust worthy. We were told by other a/c companies that our upstairs A/C would never cool as well as the downstairs. Harold was the only one who took the time to fix it and it has worked perfectly ever since. I have recommended him to many neighbors and will continue to call him for as long as he is in business!

When your air conditioner stops working, most companies must depend on desperate customers willing to pay anything to get it fixed quickly. Not me. Hopefully my experience will save someone else weeks of suffering in the heat. After several weeks of trying to get my AC fixed, I was lucky to finally find Harold. Multiple visits from several of 'the other guys', all telling me what I already knew (I had a refrigerant leak), and then giving me outrageous quotes for finding/fixing the leak (ranged from $1000-2200). One of them even recommended I not invest in a leaky system, and instead buy a new one.
I knew the source of the leak (as one of the companies pointed out, even a blind man could find the leak--then quoted me $1075 for the repair on TOP of the $350 bill they handed me for the visit, 'leak check' and 1 lb of R-410 for confirming the leak), it was the liquid line drier filter that had rusted/corroded and needed to be replaced. I am a mechanical engineer, so I know that replacing that part is not as complicated and costly as fixing/replacing a leaking coil. I called Harold on Thursday afternoon, and explained the situation to him. He have me a quote based on what I told him, and said he could be there the next morning! He gave me a one-hour time window (unlike the 4 hour window the other guys give you), and then called me the next morning asking if he could show up 30 minutes early. When he arrived, he quickly assessed the situation (yep--need a new liquid line drier filter), and got to work. He was very thorough, and took great care to make sure that when he recharged the system he let the system run for a while and took the time to ensure the system had the correct sub-cooling temperature.
While $575 isn't a small price, it is a fair price for the approximately 3 hour visit plus parts and way better than the other guys. I would highly recommend Harold at Justice Heating and AC.
