**Terrible Service, Poor Installation, Lawn Grading Ruined** I had an awful experience with Julio Irrigation. They installed my lawn sprinkler system, and the results were disastrous. After the installation, I was left with huge puddles of standing water all over my yard, and they completely messed up the lawn grading. My once-beautiful lawn is now a swampy mess. To make matters worse, their customer service is horrendous. When I called to address the issues, they were rude and unprofessional, even yelling at me when I tried to explain the problems. This is completely unacceptable, and I strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and avoid at all costs.

Julio and his crew were and are absolutely amazing people. Extremely professional and very knowledgeable. The day they were installing our system I slipped and fell in our yard and had to go to the hospital. I still owed Julio 90% of the balance due. Not once did ask when he could get his money. He and his crew completed the installation complete with video footage sent to my phone so I knew everything was working. When he was getting ready to leave he called me and asked me how I was doing and if I needed him to do anything before he and his crew left. I asked to close our garage door which he did. I offered to bring him his money at his shop that evening and told me not to worry he would send someone by the next morning to go over everything about the new system. Adolfo came by the next morning at 7:45 as Julio said he would went over everything with me and picked up the rest of the payment. It was refreshing to have someone with so much compassion and understanding working at our house. His entire crew was and is that way. I would absolutely recommend Julio and his crew to anyone.

Julio put in an irrigation system at our house. The whole process from the initial quote and contract to the installation was 5 stars. He showed up exactly as scheduled for each visit. Julio is very knowledgeable and knows exactly how to place to sprinkler heads to get full coverage, be efficient, and respect neighbors at the same time. We are in a new house, so he needed to work around future fences, patios, planter, sheds, and gardens. He was able to see our vision and get the system working 100% as we hoped. His wife was onsite as well doing the control system install. The system works on wi-fi and we can control it from the phone. Programming and using the system is easy. I am a Class A concrete and masonry contractor myself and know exactly how a crew should run. Julio was onsite all day managing the crew and running the machine. Let me tell you Julio’s crew is about as good as it gets. From the second they stepped off the truck they each did their individual tasks without being told anything. They were clean and hand dug critical parts. Clean up was so good you can barely tell they were here. The damage to the yard was way less than I figured possible. I need to bring my guys over to watch his crew to learn a few things. All the equipment and tools were new and clean and looked very professional pulling up and being onsite all day. In closing I can’t see a reason not to hire Julio. The price was good, the service was top notch, and the system works perfectly. I highly recommend this company. Call him, your grass will thank you!

Every year they were harder and harder to contact, and this year they have not returned our many calls and text messages at all (over a three week period). I was told Julio spends much of the year in California but his business and phone number are still listed in Northern Virginia. You just can't contact him. I seriously question the review before mine (on 05/07/2018) which said they came over on the same day and did work. This is the same period we were calling and texting every day with no response. This is the most unreliable vendor I have worked with and I certainly don't recommend them to anyone.

I've used Julio for several years. He and his team installed my sprinkler system and come every year to turn it on in the spring and winterize it when I call. This latest time, I contacted Julio late morning on Saturday, May 5 and by early afternoon two of his men were at my home to set up the system and make sure everything was in proper working order. Julio and his team are the best. Polite, efficient, responsible and ever the professionals. You can't go wrong in selecting Julio Irrigation!

Outstanding! He was punctual, they worked fast and his crew was very professional. I was very satisfied with the work and price and would hire him again.

We had a sprinkler system installed last summer July 2015 and Julio's team did a great job with the installation. Our grass grew back in about 5 weeks and by the fall you couldn't even tell we had had the installation. We love our new sprinkler system and our yard looks fabulous! This spring, 2016, we added several new garden beds. I called Julio and he had someone come over in a few days to reconfigure the system he installed last year to accommodate the new flower beds. I'm very happy with Julios team and their responsiveness to any service call I place. We had a small water leak when we turned the system on this year 2016, turns out there was an air pocket in the pipes. He sent someone that day to fix the problem - took about 5 minutes. Excellent service and LOVE LOVE LOVE our sprinkler system for the lawn and flower beds!

Julio and his company performed fall sprinkler maintenance on or system in 2014. We were quoted a price via email and an appointment was scheduled. I had someone at my home to let them in for the appointment since I was not able to be there. Once Julio did the work he quoted them a price that was higher than what was quoted earlier and no additional work was done. I contacted him and was told that he would stop by to reimburse the difference. It is now spring 2015 and still no contact from him. I reached out to him again via email to see if he would be the neighbourhood anytime soon since it's the busy season and again no response. This company's business tactics seem somewhat shady. There are two entries for this company on Angie's List. One with an 'A' rating and another with an 'F'. It appears to me that this company is not worthy of being part of Angie's List and I definitely would not recommend them.

The provider failed to contact me back on three attempts through phone call and text. First, the provider mentioned that he would drop by my property to perform an estimate one evening. Well, he never arrived or called to explain his absence. Next, I called the provider again days later to find out what had happen and possibly try to schedule another appointment. The provider was driving at the time and text me back after a short communication disrupted our talk. His text just simply said, and quot;I'm driving right now.and quot; He never responsed that he would call me back after his drive. So, I text the provider back for him to call me after driving. I never heard anything from the provider after that communication.
This was a very poor example of customer service by the provider. I would not recommend this provider to anyone.

I heard about Julio from a co-worker and he was pleased with the irrigation system Julio installed in his yard. I called for an estimate. He was very prompt and very professional. I checked his prices against others and he was the best, so best price and great referral, I hired him.
He said he would show up at 9am, he showed up at 8:30 am. He and his crew worked non stop installing 7 zones with minimal impact to my lawn. If a member of his crew did not install something correctly, he had them fix it until it was right. At the end of the day, he ensured every sprinkler head was performing as necessary and the total coverage was correct. He showed me how to work the automatic system and how to maintain the sprinkler heads. He didn't leave until he knew I was satisfied and knew how to work the system he installed.
He did it for the price initially quoted, showed up early, and most important, it worked!

Julio and his team were fast, efficient, profession and thorough. I had an issue with the location of the rain sensor and Julio and his team immediately moved the sensor. Great outstanding work.
