We spoke to Jose to confirm the job that needed to be done. In order to bring down the cost by $100, we worked with him to get the material ourselves. He was pretty rude on the phone from the beginning complaining and showing us that Angie?s list had already charged him for the ?lead?. Not sure why that?s the customers responsibility or fault when he?s the one who signed up for Angi?s list. He then continued to be rude while we were just trying to understand what the materials meant and where to obtain them. He spoke to us as if we were supposed to know this prior. We spent a day to go store to store to get exactly what he required to do the work. Once we obtained all the materials, I tried calling him several times and sent him multiple text messages to confirm a date to start the work. It has been two weeks and he has ghosted us completely. Now we?re stuck with materials and needing to find a new contractor. I?m honestly not sure where his good reviews come from online. I don?t ever write reviews but please be aware the professionalism is not there.

Needed two large openings filled in, on an exterior wall of a warehouse I’m leasing. The wall had an outer layer of brick and an inner layer of cinder block. Jose and his crew did an amazing job and the results were exactly what I wanted. He matched the brick perfectly. He was also able to help me with some additional work, like repairing a large opening in the drywall, as well as reinstalling two windows. His attention to detail and quality of work is superb. He was able to meet my need for a relatively quick project timeline and the price was fair. I couldn’t be happier with the work they did and am glad I chose to hire him for the job. I would definitely recommend him and his crew for any masonry or general contracting work.

I first contacted Jose to repair porch foundation in my previous home. I hired him because of his promptness in reply and professionalism, plus he has competitive pricing. For this smaller job, he went beyond my expectations and painted my whole porch ceiling. His crew was on time, quick and cleaned up entirely. Before meeting Jose I worked with too many contractors who did the bare minimum, cancelled, etc. This is why I contacted him in my new home, which needs a lot of repairs and renovations. He is trustworthy and transparent in what work truly needs to be done and in pricing. His quotes are accurate, and if anything changes he runs it by you for approval. Jose is delightful to work with, yet very professional and responsive to your concerns. It's easy to see that he takes great care and pride in his work. He finished a 1700 square foot basement in 6 weeks and the quality of work is excellent. We couldn't be more happy with the outcome, and working with Manuel was a pleasure. He is very detailed and doesn't complete a project until it's perfect. Shortly after, Jose built a flagstone patio in my backyard and again the work exceeded our expectations. He helped with the design leading to the deck and basement. We also had him lay sod around the patio and fix the grading around other parts of the exterior. Jose also managed the cutting of trees in the backyard so he can build a retaining wall soon. There are quite a few more projects we want done and will be hiring Jose for all of them. His work is top notch!

I purchased a home that needed a lot of renovations and hired Jose based on a recommendation from a friend as they had used them to finish a basement - so I was able to see the quality of work from everything theyâ d had done. Jose was prompt with coming to see the home before I even finalized the purchase and give me some great ideas on how they could renovate one bathroom and then merge two bedrooms into one and add a new bath and a walk in closet. Out of 3 contractors I had come to look at the job they not only had the best price but seemed the most professional in giving ideas and also being able to get on the schedule without waiting months. The work done was top-notch. Everything was very professional. They cleaned up every day., made sure nothing was damaged by using floor coverings and taking shoes off when walking on carpeted areas and just making sure everything was correct (as an example when putting in the new bath tub there a plumber suggested that if Iâ m going to change out the fixture on the adjoining bath which I was not ready to remodel yet, but now would be a good time to do that if Iâ m not replacing the tile because we already had the wall opened). Everyone from the painter, electrician, plumber, tile person, etc all working under Joseâ s foreman Manual were polite and professional. I will absolutely be using them again very soon to complete some other projects as itâ s an older house needing many updates and now that I have a company that I know I can rely on it makes things a lot easier to get done!

High quality work at a reasonable price. Jose is professional, friendly, and prompt with communications. He removed my old walkway and replaced it with a gorgeous stone walkway within the estimated project timeline. His meticulous attention to detail and efficient working style yielded results that highly exceed my expectations. I interviewed close to a dozen providers; delighted I chose Jose.

We selected Jose for a few reasons - we'd seen his very nice work elsewhere in our neighborhood, and among the vendors we reached out to, he was the most responsive and transparent about pricing, timing and approach. He did a great job of respecting what we wanted - salvaging materials from a previous patio job while extending and upleveling the work - and he added creative ideas to make it even more special. At every point he kept me informed on schedule and approach, and he managed to start and complete work ahead of plan. The price was fair, the work was high quality, the new patio is gorgeous, and Jose's a delight to work with. Would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Very punctual and professional delivery of the service.

Jose did a great job rebuilding our retaining wall of the stairway leading down to the lower level of our home. He also cleared away a large amount of shrubbery around the side and corner of our house. He did a great job. It only took about a day and a half and the price was very reasonable. He was easy to work with and very pleasant. I would hire him again.

Jose Lara LLC was the first company to contact me per my request. Jose came out to look over the job. Chimney was missing bricks and others were disintegrating. 14 bricks needed replacement. Jose gave me a fair quote, came on time, built a professional scaffold and completed the job. He matched the bricks and replaced everything. Took after pictures and sent them to me. Chimney looks great! I highly recommend this company!

Jose did a great job filling a large hole in my exterior wall, fixing some broken bricks and cracks, and rebuilding a small retaining wall in a light well. His workmanship was excellent (removing old half bricks so full bricks can overlap, matching mortar color, and reusing old brick to match), he left everything tidy, and his prices were very fair.

Jose was prompt in reaching out and scheduled a site visit to quote the project the same day. He and his son came out and completed the our chimney repair project less than a week after we initially spoke. They did an excellent job and we will certainly be reaching out to them again for future work.
