Johnstone Plumbing installed a sump pump for me in June 2011. During the massive rains of Sept 2011, the aforementioned sump pump malfunctioned. However, they did not mention that the pump failed because the float came loose (I discovered this several hours later after the water resided.) Moreover, I discovered that this pump was not installed correctly and this may have caused the failure. I must note that they wereresponsive in coming to my home immediately to check on the sump pump and did not charge for the service call. However, they never returned my calls after the failure to address any warranty concerns nor did they attempt to contact me to resolve the matter.

The Good: Always answered phone calls. Showed up on-time ready to work with a helper. Installed PVC vents for two drains into attic and through roof, and roughed in plumbing for pedestal sink. Worked quickly and accurately. The Bad: Had two mistakes, which they came and corrected immediately with no hassle.
