We were very happy with Edwin Ayala/JC Custom Painting who is reasonably priced and does fantastic work. He and his crew painted our entire house on the inside before we moved in and worked their tails off to meet the timeline. They also finished off the garage drywall, painted it, and finished the garage floor to a showroom finish. They designed and installed shadowboxes in our dining room, entrance way, and staircase and boxed in the dining room ceiling for an elegant touch. We also had them install crown molding in our kitchen and great room that matched the existing crown molding. Lastly they painted our deck concrete floors and ceiling (bare wood) to make it a great outdoor space. Every suggestion Edwin had was spot on and glad we did it - a great paint job with quality scrubbable paint really makes a huge difference especially with little kids. He also offers a lifetime warranty on his work. The house looks fantastic, our house is the envy of the neighborhood (especially the garage) and we feel the money was well spent.

Edwin and his team painted several rooms in our house as we were getting it ready for sale. JC Custom Painting came highly recommended and did not disappoint. He was able to replace crown molding, match old paint colors and help us choose new colors for each room. It was truly amazing how he was able to touch-up walls where the paint that was 10+ years old.
Their rates are competitive and he finished the entire project on time. They also did a great job at protecting our furniture and carpet. We highly recommend JC Custom Painting and will be using them again in a few months when our new home is ready.

Edwin did a great job. We managed this project from out of town (Houston) and he provided superior results without us being there. We received pictures of the completed work that looked great. Then we visited recently in person and confirmed the great work. We've had him back to do additional work.

I can't say enough great things about JC Painting. I have been an AngiesList member for years and primarily it is to get things rooms painted in my home. JC Painting has been the only team that's come by who's work I would consider as stellar. They were prompt, professional, quoted a great price on the job, and most importantly - my bathroom looks fantastic. They event went the extra mile and took care of some of the work done by previous painters which was screwed up and made it look amazing. I'm going to be getting done a lot paint work in the house in preparation to sell it later this year and this is the only company I'm calling in the future. Would definately recommend them to others and plan to do so.

The workers arrived on time and put down the proper protection on our floors. They prepared the walls, painted them with two coats and also painted the trim. They finished ahead of schedule and cleaned up thoroughly after they completed the job. The quality of their work was excellent, and we're planning to hire them to paint the rest of our house. They do outstanding work!

We are very happy with the service provided to caulk around 9 windows and to paint all exterior trim and two exterior doors. We plan to have them come back for future work on our homes interior. Prompt and fair pricing.

Painted entire home interior, not the closets (our choice), with excellent quality and skill. Recommended a great paint for our needs. Sanded walls first for best results and then applied two coats of paint. The finished product was fantastic! Scrubbable walls, even painting without streeks, timely (only 3.5 days), and a very professional team.
Had wall trim and shadow boxing placed in two rooms and was done by the teams carpenter with great detail. The painting team afterwords gave great attention to detail with the fine painting required.
Also had the garage painted and 3 coats were applied to get the best results (and paint was left over). The floor was also painted and sealed with an epoxy coating and I still get comments regularly from neighbors about how much they like how it looks. Car oils and other chemicals really do just wipe up with a paper towel. I highly recommend JC Custom Painting and Ed (owner and team lead). I will be using them again soon for more projects around the house.

Provider was very professional about the entire job. He gives fair prices and does everything in a timely manner. He does everything exactly as you want it and keeps the work area clean and organized. He painted my entire house and didn't get a single spot on my new carpets and floors. I have called him for many jobs throughout my house and he is always willing to stop by and give his time. I would definitely recommend him for any job in your house.

In the past I've always taken care of painting myself but after seeing what a great job Edwin and his crew did at a neighbors house I knew that I had to have him come and paint for me.  It was the BEST decision I could have made because he did an outstanding job.  He was punctual, professional, and by far the best priced in the area.  He has good attention to detail and the crew made sure that the site was clean before leaving for the day and Edwin made sure that I was completely satisfied.  The crew made the tedious job of painting look so easy and they were super fast.  It would have taken me days just to prep/tape the areas to be painted.  They completed my job in a day so they saved me countless hours had I chosen to tackle the job myself.  After having this crew work for me I will never try to paint by myself again, I'm leaving the painting to the professionals.  JC custom painting has earned my business and I will be using them again soon.

Overall experience was fantastic.  This is my second them using Edwin, and once again he provided edging paint that I did not have at no cost and actually spent more time painting to fix my mistakes than he was originally contracted to.   Additionally, Edwin recommended cost efficient companies for other work in the house.  I highly recommend him to anyone in the Northern Virginia area.

Edwin painted my entire first floor and did an outstanding job! He has a keen eye for detail and is not satisfied until the job is done right! This was by far the best quality paint job I have seen! We definitely plan on using Edwin and JC custom painting again!

Edwin and his crew provided totally professional service from start to finish. He was a great help and very patience initially during paint selection. He provided an ample number of samples and his own personnel recommendations about different color selections.  They were prompt and courteous on every visit, went to great lengths to ensure that there were no damages or mishaps. Once we were ready to paint the upstairs rooms several months later, they returned and were as professional the second time around as they were the first. For both upstairs and downstairs, all painting was completed for around $4000. We will not hesitate to contact Edwin again in the future for other home services.

They did an excellent job, were clean and efficient.  We moved back into a home that was a rental for three years, and we wanted color updates for the bedrooms.  They provided a local paint vendor, with a discounted rate, and we selected the colors.  All of this happened long distance before our move.  The contractor showed up on time and completed all the work under the supervision of my father-in-law, who let them in the house.  Even after a color mix-up that was not their fault, they made all the corrections and completed the job.  I would use this painter again, and would recommend his work to anyone who wants great value for their money.  We were very pleased with the results.

I contacted this company on a recommendation from a friend, and man were they ever right.  I met with the Owner toThe Contractor arrived on time as promised. They explained the job and what I should expect during the process. They carefully covered all the furniture and floors with drop cloth and plastic, and moved furniture as required. The staff were very professional and neat. I was amazed at the level of  detail taken during the project. My friends, family and buyers could not believe the quality of work, and level of neatness. I would hire this company again with no questions asked. The quality and timeliness of work, far out weighed the cost. The Owner was on site everyday to ensure our satisfaction and to answer any questions we had. JC Custom Painting is my go to service provider from now on.

This spring I posted in my neighborhood HOA Facebook page asking for a recommendation for a painter and Ed was immediately referred to me by multiple people in my neighborhood...and I totally see why!!! I'm SO HAPPY I called him!!! We were so happy with his work after he started that we just kept adding and adding on!!!
.We started with just paint in the 2-story family room and were so impressed that we had our entire first level, stairway, and upstairs hallways painted...and then we added on the custom woodwork and crown molding throughout the entire first level, up the stairs and in the upstairs hallway!!! Our house was completely transformed!!! We were actually so impressed with Ed and his team we called him back the next month to have him paint out kids' rooms!!! He not only painted them but went above and beyond and caulked the trimwork everywhere in their rooms!!! We already have plans to do our garage, and finish a room in our basement with him in the future - he's THAT GOOD!!! He's our guy - for life!!!

And another thing - Ed and his team were extremely accommodating, ALWAYS on time, extremely professional, they cleaned EVERYTHING up (throughout the day - not just at the end...they always kept the house spotless) and he always communicated with us and went WAY out of his way to make sure we were happy!!! For example, my husband noticed a board was slightly curved in one of the boxes in the 2 story family room and Ed and his team put up the ladder and took the ENTIRE BOX (not just the slightly curved piece) down and re-did it to ensure we were happy!!! Honestly, if we weren't 110% happy with something Ed completely re-did it, no questions asked!!! I have NEVER received this level of service from ANYONE before!!! He and the team even let our dogs in and out throughout the day as they were working!!! Seriously, folks, CALL HIM!!! 

I was delighted in how the work was completed from phone call to finished workmanship. First, Edwin called me back immediately and set up a same day appointment to give me a free estimate. He provided photos of previous work he had done and offered references. I had already seen a custom painting job he had done so that was why I contacted him.  He was not pushy to try and make a sale. He was able to start the job within a few days & give me a reasonable price. Three  painters arrived, including himself and they worked for 2 days completing the job professionally and paying attention to details. I had a lot of nail pops so there was a lot of prep work before the painting starting. The paint job went quickly & he was able to achieve the results I wanted.  I plan to use him again this winter as he was able to give me some good ideas on how to refinish staircase railings. He has a good eye for details (much like a designer).  He even does deck staining, so may have to use him again in the Spring.
