I had evidence of mice in my pantry. Home Paramount did a great job. They reviewed all possible entry points and plugged several holes in my exterior brick and in pipes in my outdoor utility room. They also put a temporary solution in place in my pantry until they could come back to build a permanent solution (so I could have access to my water shut off valves). They came back promptly this week to complete the job. Very professional and friendly.

They are very responsive. If you have a problem, they come back with no problems. They are easy to work with. They have pleasant technicians.

They are very good and spray for roaches. I really don't need it and they also put bait down for mice because I did have a problem with mice getting into the house a couple of years ago so I kept it up to make sure I don't get any. They come on the second Saturday of the month, like a regular thing. I have had their service for about 15 years. The only thing is if I need extra services for flea treatment they want me to sign a contract for that and I did not want to. It is kind of expensive for that flea thing so I called another company that said I do not need to sign any contract. They were a little cheaper than Home Paramount. I was not even there for their last treatment so I just had them do the outside.

This visit was fine, and no evidence of termites was found. However, I have had ongoing issues with this company over the 2.5 years I have had their service. The main problem is that their communication within their organization has been poor and haphazard. This has led to decreased quality of service. The reason I hired them in the first place was that I was continuing the contract the previous owner of my property had with them. To start over with another company would have been very costly; placement of new traps for the entire property would cost a great deal whereas an annual contract for inspections is about $300, which I still consider expensive. My main complaint has to do with the main company home office, and not necessarily with the Woodbridge office specifically. Although the company has branches, they maintain most of the control from the home office, I believe in Baltimore, MD. The problem is that they do not coordinate their records adequately so that you never get the same story from anyone you deal with.
Here are examples of why I'm displeased with this company. In 2011 I called the company to see how many traps were installed on my property. Upon counting the traps, I found their records showed far fewer traps than I counted myself. No inside the home inspection was done that year. In 2012, someone from the Woodbridge office came out and verified the larger number of traps I had and in fact added 8 more to come up to the recommended coverage. I called to arrange an inside inspection, which they did perform. In 2013, the technician checked each trap and recorded everything (no termite activity) and it looked like they had their act together. I was not contacted about setting up an inside inspection. So now in January, 2014, I was contacted to set up an inside inspection! One of the people at the home office said that the company should contact me within two weeks of the trap inspection to set up the inside inspection. The tech who came Monday said no, I have to call them to set up inside inspections, and they do them at any time; he recommended twice a year. The office rep said that as of this year. they are required by Bayer (manufacturer) to replace the bait at each annual inspection. The tech who did the inside inspection said no, they don't have to replace the bait yearly, just when there's evidence of activity.
I could give other examples, but you get the idea. Inconsistent, conflicting versions of information from the home office, which maintains tight control over branches, and practitioners in the field. I also feel over $300 per year to check baits and inside the home annually (a total of about an hour) is a lot to pay.
So if I was starting out to find a company for termite inspection, this definitely would not be the one. I will stay with them because it's too expensive to change, but I will keep very close tabs on what they promise and what they do.

Home Paramount Pest Control Co come out once a year to do the termite inspection. They are reasonably priced, they show up when they say they will because when I was working, I had to wait for them to come and then leave for work and they were accommodating. I also had them treat for ants.We have use them for probably close to 30 years.

The people who call for the appointments are rude and set up the appointment date even if you say you won't be available on that date. So they send their techs out to do a service and noone is home. the last time they called I was going to be out of town for the week and I told them I would call on a specific date when I got back to make an appointment. I got home late that day and the service had been done that morning. This has happeed numerous times. For ant control it doesn't help much if it rains right after they treat outside if they don't get in the house. when you call to complain they aren't at all friendly. It's impossible to reach a supervisor. I will be changing my service to anouther company. It's unfortunate because their work force are very accomodating and have to deal with unhappy clients when their office staff send them out without proper appointments. They really need to retrain their office staff. Customer service is vital when you're a service provider.

It has been very effective. They can't seem to get rid of my ants. The gentleman that comes to do the pests sprays goes above and beyond for me. He does a little extra for me which I truly appreciate. The very first time I had them out it was over $600.00.

They are expensive but I have no complaints. They are aggressive. I have rat traps. At one point I had 8-15 traps in my yard. I am in ann area where they are taring down houses. The service seems to help. I was willing to pay the money to get rid of the rats and they did.

They charge a lot. My wife pays the bills and she becomes irate every time she sees the bill. We will continue to use them because if we switch, they will probably take their bait stations and we would have to probably pay $1,000 to have new bait stations put in. We would cancel the whole thing but we've had termites twice prior to this bait station thing.

The first guy that came out was horrible, but the second one did a good job. I would not recommend them.

I have been using them for years. They are very responsive and come right away when you call. They have helped us with ants, mice, and a raccoon. They go above and beyond our expectations. I would recommend them to others.

It's an OK company. I used them before at another house. I thought that they were better at that location. They are very responsive though.

I found them on the Web. They spray and check for bugs once every quarter. If I have a problem that requires more than the bare minimum of service that they offer every quarter, then I have to pay for those extra services. I don't think their price is fair for what they offer, but they are very responsive. It's a little hard to separate professionalism from the problem I mentioned, but for the bare minimum that they offer, they are professional. The individuals that come over and do the job are professional. It's just that the company's policies are such that the customer doesn't really get value for what they pay. I will continue to use them for the remainder of my contract with them.

They have fair pricing, I checked around. I have been using them for 15 years. I use them because they use foot coverings on their shoes before they come in your house. Some of the service men are a little better than others. They give a two hour time slot of when they will come and they come when they say will.

They are a good company, and I have no issues with them. They do what we ask them to do.

We've lived in our house for 28 years and never had ants until 2 years ago. We tried fighting them ourselves with no luck and thought we should try a professional. The professionals were not successful either. So I tried ant bait and successfully ridded our home of ants, finally. After we fired Home Paramount, they came back and treated the house again, outside. They tried to get paid and even threatened us with collection.
